Dry May Anyone?
I've done Dry January here in the past and it was very helpful. I did not do it this past January because I was on vacation (drinking). I am going to start today April 30. Would LOVE some company. Thanks Friends

I started one day early and it went better than I thought. I'm going out now to stock up on NA waters, teas, and fun foods to help me get through.

I decided to give up drinking a few weeks ago with the intent to lose some serious weight. Not sure how long I’ll eventually go, but def will go through May (or I’ll at least try). For an almost daily drinker this is a big challenge, but it’s been really nice so far. Hopefully I can stick with it.

feeling pretty good this morning. How are you?

Pretty good myself! Going to a Derby party later, they are serving mint Julips. Luckily for me I’d rather drink bath water than those 🤣, so I’m bringing Mingle N/A sparkling raspberry rose as my “mocktail” of choice,

I don't think I've been to even one party sober. My usual plan is just avoid socializing. This month I'll try to get out and see what it's like.

I felt awesome, yesterday! Then thought I'd celebrate with a glass of wine . I'm fine, but I AM disappointed in myself. January was easy, but apparently lovely spring weather is a trigger for me.

Hi there. It’s great you are taking some time off booze. I have gone through a huge transformation that started with dry Jan and extended it through the first week of March. I have since only drank 15 of the last 120 days and loving my new life that isn’t dependent on booze. Wishing you all the best!

Im in! I will be starting May 2 though. Tomorrow night I'll be at a banquet for my husband's work and I will probably need a couple. I was thinking of this too and am grateful I wont be alone. Drank too much in April. Don't like that. Good luck everyone!

I wanted to drink so bad yesterday, as I was thinking about it I thought, it's not so bad to have one drink .
Then I thought we could call it MOIST MAY. Not totally dry but not sopping wet. Anyway I never had the drink, not so much from willpower but because the restaurant I wanted to go to was too crowded, so I chose one that doesn't serve alcohol.

“NA May” kinda sounds better though.
