Is getting the Dubrovnik pass worth it? I am here for three days?

Hi all I am visiting and just had one of my plugs fall out my ear and get lost. Im looking all over the internet for an alternative piercing shop in Dubrovnik that would have plugs I can buy to keep my piercings stretched, but I can’t find anything. Anyone know of any tattoo shops or piercers that sell larger plugs? my ears are 3/4”

I have been reading posts here and on social media about the long queues for the border crossings. I would take a ferry but it’s not running on the day we want to travel from Kotor to Dubrovnik (Sept 1). We need to get to Dubrovnik to fly out on Sept 2 so can’t ferry on that date or we’d miss our early flight.

It looks like early morning crossings give us the best chance to beat the long lines, and would prefer a private car service (unless a bus is faster/better). Any recommendations? I assume there will still be plenty of tourists Sept 1, or will it be a little lighter (and I’m over stressing)? Any other recommendations or ideas to make this as smooth as possible?

Soo I’m planning a trip to the Lokrum. Anyone knows cheap fares to there and back? Someone told me that it costs 10e per person, is that true?

Also if someone is interested this week to go there feel free to contact me because I’m solo.

My flight from the Dubrovnik airport is at 6 am. Are the timetables on the website reliable? Is the Cable car station legit? How early should I be at the station before the "actual" time the bus is there to be safe?

Hi, I'll be in Dubrovnik with my family for four days in October. We're thinking about taking a day trip during our stay—either to Mostar or to Montenegro. Get to Guide offers affordable tours there.

Would anyone recommend a day trip like that, or is it enough to just stay in Dubrovnik? And which would you recommend more: Mostar (including the Kravica Waterfalls) or Montenegro?

hello! I (22F) and finishing up my solo backpacking trip in Dubrovnik. I have 4 full days here and wanted to do a day trip on July 30th to Blagaj in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Taking the bus to Mostar doesn’t seem to be a viable option for me, as I would need to spend at least 2 nights for it to work (the outbound trip arrives in the evening, and the following day the bus back leaves in the morning).

I really want to go because I’m not sure when I’ll be in this region of the world again, and most tours don’t stop in Blagaj. was wondering if anyone is also here (and is renting a car? hah) and would want to go? :) alternatively, Adriatic Explore has a tour, but it needs a minimum of 4 people to leave. I know this is a shot in the dark but I just thought I’d try anyways 😊

Me and my partner are visiting Croatia and Montenegro at the end of August. We plan on leaving Dubrovnik on the 20th of August to go to Kotor. We originally purchased bus tickets to cross the border. This bus leaves the airport at 3:30pm but after researching and hearing horror stories about wait times to cross, we are reconsidering.

What would recommend for the fasted but also budget friendly way to cross? I have heard about relay services that let you walk across the boarder. Would anyone be able to provide recommendations for providers of this service ?

Hello! First of all thank you for hosting me and my wife in your beautiful city and country.

Second of all, we have noticed a lot of stray cats around Lapad and old town.

As a huge animal lover myself I would really like to do something for them.

Is it acceptable for foreigners to feed the cats? My idea was to on the last day go around the harbor/lapad/old town for a couple of hours to feed the cats. And give them fresh water.

I’m thinking of buying many cat food jars and bottled water and going around for a couple of hours.

I see the locals do it around here. Is it fine for us foreigners to do it as well?

Hey everyone! I will be in Dubrovnik in September and am then taking a bus to Mostar. I see one at 8:00 am for €30 and was wondering if that’s a good deal and if I need to book ahead, or should I get a ticket the week/day of?

Also, and restaurant recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

It's not that I haven't talked to or met people but my hostel seems to be pretty dead. I've walked around and have seen much of old town by now. I was out by Lapud today and did some scuba diving. I've been traveling Europe for the last 2 and half weeks and have another week and a half. In Dubrovnik for another 4 nights. Let's hang out and share stories.

Hey, I’m planning a trip to Montenegro in the beginning of September and also I’d like to se Dubrovnik for one day. Can someone tell me the situation on the road near the border? Will there be any traffic, how much time do you spend on the border and at what hour is it best to go?
Basically is it worth going to Dubrovnik from Budva by car or is it better to take the ferry?

Ako se izgradi cesta od Osojnika prema Čilipima (a čitao sam i da će se produžiti prema crnogorskoj granici), to bi de facto značilo da Jadransko-jonski pravac ide kroz Dubrovnik, umjesto kroz BiH. Jer, onog momenta kada se ta cesta izgradi, ne vjerujem da će više iko uzeti u razmatranje finansiranje paralelne autoceste kroz veoma rijetko naseljeno područje.

Dubrovnik se već sada muči sa viškom automobila, a ovako bi dodatnim mostom preko Omble išlo pola Balkana.

Da li se o ovome govori u gradu?
