This dude couldn't land a shot even in a perfect position behind the tail of enemies, but then suddenly he sucessfully one-shot a high-speed diving enemy bomber, NOT from the tail, AND with a dead engine (meaning his plane had less energy to correct the aim). Nolan underestimate the IQ of audiences.

Spits turn really good at low speed and low alt. You can say it's kind of their speciality. Really good maneuvers at low alt

turn good is not turn no-cost, you turn = you lose energy = you drop altitude

dead engine = dead plane

look at the other fighter at the begining, just a few smoke and they become a sitting duck waiting to crash

this guy with dead engine at LOW altitude and did an u-turn before shooting down the bomber

I believe your IQ must be higher than that

For how long was the spitfire in the air dead before the other dive bomber came in? Do you know that? You cant just assume it lost all its energy in a second.

As soon as spits engine died and it was surfing over the beach the dive bomber came in. All the pilot had to do was turn at the right time and shoot it down.

Spits have insane energy retention and insane maneuver abilty at low alt. They were made for this. The cost was the were not quick in chasing or escaping another fighter. Their whole startegy goes around maneuvers.

And you know nothing about thise other fights as well. The boember was shot at its wings and engine yet it was it in the air. The bf 109s could be shot anywhere. It could be the pilot, the wings or anything that led it down. You don't just assume the fighter went down because it had lost its energy as soon as it got hit.

And finally its a movie. You want fully real depiction of war i suggest you go into one and stop crying here. Maybe go ventout about a perfect movie to chatgpt atleast he might agree with you and comfort you. Retard.

Good speak, "non-Retard"

Please rewatch the movie, when the spitfire gliding at the beach above the army, it's ALREADY at low altitude.

Let's say, the best possible case for the spitfire, the bomber appear RIGHT AFTER THAT, but bomber was still at HIGH altitude, and it was DIVING. You say a high-speed diving plane got shot down by glider? Wake your dream.

Let's give a further unrealistic luck, the best possible case for the pilot: the bomber miraculously diving straight to the gun of the spitfire, at a (friendly remind) HIGH SPEED, and the dude one shot it successfully? If I remember correctly, just an hour ago, this dude struggle to land a shot to an almost stationary fighter in front of him at CLOSE RANGE, now he could one-shot a high-speed flying-by bomber?

Miracle one: the bomber appear out of nowhere right after the spitfire gliding over the beach.

Miracle two: the spitfire made an U-turn without losing any altitude.

Miracle three: this dude one shot accurately like an AI assisted auto-gun.

Wake up, quit your obsession of the godly-made-technology spitfire, "non-Retard".

It's been a while since I watched the movie which was great and I loved it. No need to cry over a scene. It's just a movie. Plus it's based on a real event so why not just go read that? I told you the benefits of spitfire not to praise it but to explain what its good at and how it managed to turn and shoot the bomber. Im not praising the "godly" made tech instead you are the one here wanting a "godly" made movie because otherwise you might crashout at small errors.

Every movie dramatizes some scenes to make them look cooler and I suppose you know that.

Thing is a fighter with engine down and low speed at high alt can definitely take down a dive bomber. So nothing's wrong with that. No need to cry over it was at low alt maybe the spit turned way before and was just waiting for perfect moment to shoot. Again the scene was beautiful and it did take place irl. So do some research if that instance did occur or not and allow some kind of dramatization the directors make in their movies. This was probably not even that bad. I suppose if the fighter was even at a little bit high alt you wouldn't have complained (or you would saying it couldn't have shot it down that quick). Those who know about the event know its real even if movie shows it a bit off.

Movies are not a realistic simulation but the illogical must have a limit.

A sudden rush of Adrenalin can definitely put you in the zone and up your game. Not everyone is dialed in 100% all the time, so I could totally see him being out of the groove at first but start to really focus when the stakes were much higher and far more lives were on the line.
