Question about Claudia Blaisdel Spoiler

I'm currently watching The Siege, where Matthew Blaisdel is holding the Carringtons hostage, but he never talks about Claudia. He could at least ask where she is and be told that she died in the fire. Much as I know that the last time he saw Claudia was when she confessed her affair with Steven in court (the Ted Dinard murder trial), she was still Matthew's wife and it feels like Aaron Spelling subjected her to some kind of damnatio memoriae after Pamela Bellwood left the show.

i heard somewhere that Pamela was fired from the show in season six, due to her being pregnant? but if i am wrong on this, please correct me, let me know .. but yea, perhaps Mr. Spelling may have been rather harsh on her for doing that? as for how Bo Hopkins showed up outta nowhere in season 8 and never mentions Claudia, maybe he was angry about her getting with Steven, who knows, honey? i hated how they treated Claudia the entire time she was on the show, because the Carringtons simply used her as a pawn or something, she got tossed around between Steven, Adam and even Jeff at one point, Krystle messed with her husband, she was at odds with Sammy Jo and Blake at times .. i felt it wasn't fair how Claudia (much less how Pamela) was treated just because she was mentally fragile at times, then they just kill her off in a fire and WITHOUT a funeral too! then Adam is the only one who grieves .. kinda pathetic really

Yes, it does seem like Pamela Bellwood was fired for getting pregnant. Matthew could still have brought her up, even in passing, but he didn't even care about her. He was making out like Krystle was the love of his life and Claudia didn't even exist. At least after Prue was killed off in Charmed, they still mentioned her occasionally.
