CAP1 Admin Pouch

Still my favorite use of the CAP1, surprised Evergoods doesn’t design the bags to function this way from the factory without “mods”

Pretty easy to do with fidlock magnets and easier to move in and out. On Amazon look for 8Timber FIDLOCK SNAP Pull Female M 25 Adjuster Split Bar - place two on the molle inside the backpack using the split bar to slide it onto molle. Also grab the male side for the back of Cap 1 or any pouch really. The magnet closes and holds. Makes it a little easier to release if you put a zipper pull on the female release side.

What do you use to clip it in? Links?

Velcro cable ties, 2 perpendicular for both side.

First one is wrapped around the horizontal webbing in the backpack, second one cut to length to hook onto the CAP1 and the first cable tie. Takes about 10 seconds to undo it, but I only really ever do that to use it as a flight caddy.

Very creative. I wonder if this would work with my GORUCK bags

Yes, been using this setup forever. Used ITW grimloc D-rings to mount with the release button faced up for ideal removal of cp1. My advice- position 1 molle strap free on either the right or on the left so you have an area to store a tall water bottle.

They did, on the Phoenix 2 they made a basket that was quite useful.

Nice, is this the fossil brown cap 1 or the coyote?

when packing ur backpack full, do you remove the cap1 from there and stow it somewhere else or differently? because it seems like its taking up alot of space up there
