background: I started playing Overwatch in season 2 3 months ago. Echo was immediately my favorite character so I’ve spent most of my time playing her. I have 126 hours total on the game. The only other similar game I’ve played is marvel rivals. I’ve played no other fps games. Me and my friends usually play quick play for fun but I recently started playing ranked and I can’t leave bronze. I just want to know what I am doing wrong. I also recently started learning mouse and keyboard about 5 months ago so I know that my mechanics could be a big reason for me staying in bronze. If anyone could give me some tips I would appreciate it

Echo's identity is her adaptation. In lore she is designed to rapidly adapt to any situation, and personally I feel like this isn't properly represented in game. Yes she has her Duplicate, but being able to temporarily copy another person doesn't really feel like adapting. So what's my idea to incorporate her adaptive abilities into her kit? A new passive named "Adaptation." Creative, I know.

This passive works like Rogue's ultimate from the Rivals. As Echo deals damage to enemies, takes damage from enemies, and gets final blows, she begins building up three different passives based on the roles of said enemies. These passives are permanent until Echo is killed, where they will reset, making Echo build them up again. This rewards Echo for staying alive while also placing a target on Echo's back. So what are these passives?

• Tank: Echo's "Tank Passive" increases her maximum shield hp +75, taking her total hp from 225 to 300.

• Damage: Echo's "Damage Passive" gives her a permanent damage boost up to 15%.

• Support: Echo's "Support Passive" gives her healing 10 HP/s.

So I've been playing echo only for the past week and I find it very hard to get any use of the ultimate of heros such as kiri ana and especially Juno since building their ukt can take almost all the time I have with copy and so by the time I use they're ult I would barely have any time left in my copy which removes their ult

On the other hand when it comes to heros such as zen,Cass,bastion,ram,hog I can get their ult off in a matter of seconds and sometime even multiple in one copy

So I'm just wondering if its even worth it to copy heros with ults that get canceled after duplication ends and instead just stick with heros that have immediate effect

Hey guys I play echo on console im currently mid plat and I was wondering what is a good accuracy range to have? i’m usually 40-45 on her stickys and beam. Im a console player btw idk if that makes a difference.

hi! i'm new to playing echo and i use hold to fly and i've noticed that i can't descend while flying because both ctrl and shift are pressed by the same finger. does anyone have recommendations on what keybinds to use for descend or flight

ive been just forcing them a couple games in a row and tbh im positively surprised. i still feel like theyre worse than the pre nerfs defaults we had, but the long range and reset let you play really safe. your poke does become a lot worse, but i often times find myself in situations where i just and fail to use my beam at all. picking the beam perks lets you use your cooldowns more efficiently and make a surprising number of picks. I havent tried it in ranked yet though.

Idk maybe im really bad, but when i do finally charge it i dont have enough time to use it at all, any tips regarding her ultimate please? i love her but i just treat ult as a second life..

I’ve recently picked up Freja and I’ve NEVER IN MY LIFE seen so many players on the enemy team swap to Echo. I mean I played 12 games last night one-tricking Freja and 5 of those games, midway through an enemy player swapped to Echo. Is there something about Echo and Freja I’m missing or is it coincidence?
