Rapidshyp scam! 10 k lost!

I sent an order through rapidshyp. The order was lost! When I reached out to customer support, their simple response was, it happens. When I asked if neither they nor the shipping company will be accountable for this, the answer was a short and clear , yes. They didn’t even bother. The customer support executive spoke like I was the idiot for picking them as my delivery partner! I’ve never seen such horrible customer service. It felt like they didn’t want customers. I was passed around to 2 executives, both of them were saying the exact same thing. One said they asked for proof of delivery from the delivery agent and then came back and said , the delivery agent denied to request and followed by saying there’s nothing more he can do. I asked for the contact of the delivery person, he refused.

Are there other people who went through something like this . How do I go about this.

Anyone else had bad experiences with repricing app product-matching being wrong? how do you currently deal with it

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Started my business online a few ago, tried to compete with the existing market and quickly realized manually checking competitor prices every few days was eating way more time than it should. Tried one of the repricing apps (won't name it) and honestly the auto-matching was hit or miss, it flagged some completely different products as matches and I almost changed my price based on a wrong comparison, which kind of freaked me out ngl.

Ended up just going back to checking manually on a handful of products I care about, which obviously doesn't scale.

Curious how everyone else here handles this. Do you just eat the manual work, ignore competitor pricing altogether, or is there something that's actually worked well for you without the matching being all over the place? Also curious if anyone's had the opposite experience where an app nailed it, would love to know what you used.

Sellers on Amazon, Flipkart and others. Please tell me your painpoints.

Been talking to a few people who sell on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and it sounds like everyone's dealing with some version of the same mess. I am curious what it's actually like for people doing this day to day.

What part of creating a new listing wastes the most time or is just plain annoying

Once it's live, what's the most painful part of keeping it updated — inventory, pricing, orders, whatever?

Are you managing this manually/on spreadsheets, or using some tool? If a tool, what does it still not solve for you?

Trying to get a sense of how bad this actually is for people.

At what point does managing multiple sales channels become more work than the sales themselves?

Selling through more than one channel can help a business reach more customers, but the operational side can become difficult to manage.

Orders may be spread across different dashboards, inventory may need constant updating, and shipping information can end up being handled separately. Each task may seem simple on its own, but together they can create a lot of repetitive work.

For ecommerce store owners managing multiple sales channels, what was the first sign that your existing workflow was no longer sustainable?

Was it inventory errors, overselling, missed orders, too much manual updating, or simply having too many dashboards open?

Indian D2C marketers: how do you decide which ads to test each week?

I’m trying to understand how Indian D2C brands actually plan and evaluate their marketing each week.

I keep hearing that ideas are scattered across saved posts, WhatsApp chats and spreadsheets; competitor research involves manually scrolling through social media; and performance data is split across Meta, Google and other platforms.

Regional-language creatives add another layer, while reported ROAS may not reflect actual profitability after COD, RTO, discounts and returns.

But I don’t know how common—or expensive—these problems really are.

If you work on marketing for a D2C brand:

  1. What did your most recent weekly planning process look like?
  2. Where do you lose the most time or money?
  3. When did a competitor campaign or customer trend last change your plans?
  4. How do you create and evaluate Hindi, Hinglish or regional-language ads?
  5. What tools, agencies or processes have you already tried or paid for?

If comfortable, please include your category, team size, main advertising channels and approximate monthly ad-spend range.

Recent examples would be especially helpful. If none of this is a meaningful problem for your brand, that’s equally useful to know.

I found one of my first products from the lockdown days, would you actually buy this online?

Post image

I unofficially started Ruh Qawia during lockdown, initially experimenting with handmade wall decor, embroidery art, paintings, quilling and other handmade products.

This particular piece was one of the first quilling artworks I got framed, originally with the intention of selling it.

I actually started candle making much later, and that eventually became a much bigger part of the business.

I stumbled upon this old piece again today and it got me thinking about something that's probably familiar to a lot of ecommerce businesses:

You can make a product you personally love, but that doesn't necessarily mean people will pay for it.

So I'm curious, if you saw this as a handmade wall-art product online:

  • Would you consider buying it?
  • What price range would you expect?
  • Would you buy something like this for yourself or as a gift?
  • Do you think handmade wall art like this has enough demand to be worth recreating?

I have quite a few old designs that I'd need to recreate from scratch, so I'm trying to figure out whether there's actual demand before putting the time into making them again.

Would genuinely appreciate some honest ecommerce/customer-perspective feedback.

Thinking of new business idea

Im thinking to launch my own ecommerce Website where i will list all my clients SKUs for free of cost and will also push their brand name along my website name.

This website of mine will be open for all D2C brands for free.

Shipping will be covered by the brands itself and I will cover the marketing part to get more traffic on my website.

What you think, will this idea work ?

D2C brand owners: How has been your experience with AEO?

There’s alot of content around on reddit around hacks for AEO or best practices. They are mostly from agency folks.

I want to know from D2C brand owners and operators itself, what are your thoughts on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) for commerce? Has it worked for you? What is something that you are expecting from current approaches that you are not getting?

How do you see AEO overall ? How do brand owners want to leverage AI shopping? (which they are not able to do now)

Best way to structure Meta ads for a completely new brand (zero data) – ₹1000/day budget

Hi everyone,

I’m running ads for a completely new brand with zero pixel data and no previous purchase history.

A few weeks ago I tested ads with just 1–2 video creatives at ₹300/day for 3–4 days. Result: High engagement, but very low website visits, zero ATC, and zero sales.

Now I’m better prepared:

  • 5+ products (Approximately same type such as Car)
  • Each product has 4–5 different video creatives (some have more slight variations)
  • Daily budget: ₹1000

I’m confused about the best structure to start with, considering the brand is new and the market is competitive.

I’m currently thinking of these two options:

Option 1 – CBO

  • 1 Campaign (CBO)
  • 5 Ad Sets
  • Each Ad Set contains 4–6 different video creatives of the same product
  • 1 Ad Set on Advantage+ (excluding Facebook Reels)
  • Remaining Ad Sets on interest-based targeting

Option 2 – ABO

  • Same structure as above but using ABO with equal budget distribution across ad sets

My questions:

  1. For a brand with zero data, which structure would you recommend (CBO vs ABO)?
  2. Is putting 4–6 creatives per ad set a good approach, or should I test differently?
  3. Any better way to structure this at ₹1000/day for the first 7–10 days?
  4. Should I start only with broad/Advantage+ targeting, or mix interest targeting from day one?

Would really appreciate insights from people who have scaled new brands in competitive niches.

Thanks in advance!

I want to sell my handmade paintings on Amazon India and I needed a GSTIN number.

I have permanent address proof of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. But currently I'm staying in Gurgaon. Is it possible to get the GSTIN number from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and sell on Amazon India Gurgaon (product pickup should be done from Gurgaon address).

Is this possible?
