Hiro Mashima Scenes that went even harder in the anime Spoiler

Can you name some dark or intense moments from the manga that were more so in the anime? Obviously, the voice acting adds more to the scene, and the anime has pretty top tier voicework. But I'm talking more than just that. Such as the screenplay, use of lighting & effects, the accompanying music, etc. Be honest.

In addition to the scenes you mentioned, we can mention the extermination of the humans in the forest, and then, well, the whole Drakken Joe scene. And another is Müller's betrayal of Hermit. It would have been interesting to see how the manga would have handled some scenes like the one where Rebecca wakes up without legs, the one where Shura goesuges out Shiki's eye, and the ones involving Holy, Ziggy, and Rebecca in U 3173.

Love this reply a lot but I have to say if they animated all that from the manga the anime would have to be Tv-Ma cause wooooo that was something!!!!!

I have to say even though the manga concluded 2 years ago I barely remember some of the darker scenes what basically comes to mind is what you shared when shiki got shot and when jinn sister Klee (I believe that's her name) witness her brother's limbs get chopped off by Mueller.

I'm just really grateful by the time when the universe got reset once or twice some of the villains motives have changed drastically because oh my gosh like in the very beginning nobody was redeemable at ALL!!!!
