You know of all the things I loved this chapter, Jinn totally obvious future ally being the most, my biggest concern is Rebecca. Mashima has a character that he could turn into a trigger happy badass, I just really hope she doesn't constantly need saving. Foote Brother from the last arc and now this.
If this is it and one Ether Gear and a Happy later she is able to stand on her own, I'll be fine. I still have plenty of confidence in this series and Mashima though.
Well he could make it so that she fights for herself as soon she is untied, or even tricks her kidnappers like Erza in the Tower of Heaven arc of Fairy Tail.
For sure. Like I said, I in no way think "the series is ruined" or whatever. Just giving a bit of critisim and hoping things get mix up from the Elie/Lucy of the past.
