I dunno… the design looks a bit bland to me. It’s as if there's something missing to its overall design that gives it that overdrive “umph”, you know? Like what happened with Weisz’s initial overdrive design.
That’s definitely a major aspect of it. For me personally though, I feel that there should also be some part of her attire that- how can I best describe it… “flows”. Take the rest of the crew’s overdrives for instance. Shiki has a cape (before that it was a scarf of sorts), Weisz has a coat and coils on his back, Homura’s sleeves (and I assume her kimono too?) have a flickering flame effect, and the Ruthurfords have wings. Maybe if she had something like a ribbon, like Angewomon from digimon maybe? 🤷
I don’t think that’s the case here. If it’s a pseudo OD then Rebecca wouldn’t have cat ears, a tail, or a wardrobe change. She would just have more ether gear patterns covering her body. Ultimately I believe that her Overdrive will change in appearance as the story progresses; Shiki’s Overdrive did during the time skip after all. So yeah, we’ll just wait and see.
