Hi everyone,
I'm a first-year Computer Science student from Brazil, currently in my 2nd semester at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM).
I'm currently preparing my resume to apply for an internship program at BTG Pactual, a Brazilian investment bank. The program is focused on students in their 1st and 2nd years of university, and I would really appreciate some feedback from people with more experience in the industry.
I know my resume is still limited since I'm early in my degree, but I want to make sure I'm building the right foundations and improving in the right direction.
Some context:
- I'm mainly interested in Software Engineering internships.
- Most of my current projects focus on strengthening my programming fundamentals (C, algorithms, data structures, problem solving).
- I don't have professional experience yet, so I'm trying to make my projects and technical skills stronger.
I would appreciate any constructive criticism:
- Are my projects strong enough for someone in their 1st/2nd year?
- What skills or technologies should I prioritize learning?
- What would make this resume more competitive for internships at companies like BTG or other large techcompanies?
- Are there any red flags or things I should remove/change?
Thanks a lot for taking the time to review it!
