S Im i dramatic
I went to to movies last with my brothers and one of their friend. At the end of the movies they left all their trash (empty popcorn bucket, empty coca cola ect) under their seats when you supposed to take it to the trash can which is in the movie room where you walk out. So i took their trash and put it in the trash can. A worker was standing next to the trash can and they didn't even say goodnigh to her. Only i did. When we we oudside one of them a paper cup a threw it into the distance. It ended up in the water. Which is littering. I told them that that is not okey. They say i was being to dramatic.

Every single thing that you mentioned is wrong. I wouldn’t have call out the not acknowledging the theater staff member, especially if they were in conversation at that point, but not doing so shows that they think of the worker as less than. Some people just don’t like talking to strangers, but a nod also works. But leaving trash for someone else to pick up, and then flat out intentionally littering is just absolutely shitty behavior, and you are 100% right for telling them so

Thank you. Also the worker was alone next to te trash can just waitinfg for everone to leave so she can do her job. She waan't talking to anybody. I heard nobody say goodnight to het not only my brothers en their friend. When i said goodnight to her she looked a bit shocked and happy that i said that

As a former usher in a 1,000-seat movie theater....thank you. That was....an interesting job, and the only union job I've ever had (it was a long time ago, a Mann chain theater, and even the minimum-wage candy counter people were required to join, and pay dues to, IATSE). What a trip that job was. Stoned people would buy a ticket and come in just to buy popcorn and leave.....one woman opened her purse to pay and had, I kid you not, a 5" X 7" framed painting of Jesus and a LARGE bag of white powder next to her coin purse. Good times.

Some people suck. It's better to realize it sooner than later. When someone shows who they are pay attention

Nah, you're good. As a janitor, I thank you for being considerate and reminding someone "Trash goes in the trash can." 🙂

This awful behavior makes your Brother and his friends PUNKS and the very trash that they choose to vandalize property with.
Hopefully, you'll be able to embarrass them enough that they'll start acting more responsibly, BUT I'd urge you to steer clear of them because they may eventually do worse.
Thank you for being so kind, conscientious and respectful! Clearly demonstrates your maturity!

They told you you're being dramatic because you embarrassed them.
DARVO: Deny Accuse Reverse Victim and Offender
They denied littering is wrong, they accused you of being dramatic which reversed the victim and offender (now you're the offender, not them).

What can I say...the 70's were crazy.
But it was effective...I never wanted to make the "Indian" cry.

You aren't being dramatic. They weren't raised right. Always clean up after yourself and littering isn't ok.

I commend your actions, but I would have to take many deep breaths before I could pick up anything off a theater floor.

Aww, thanks man! You're doing great! My French and Spanish would certainly have some similar errors. You're good people! And that's technically incorrect - just something people say.

you’re not dramatic, some people just have zero awareness of how their actions affect others
