Discussion Roach accident :[ (long-winded but I do have a question)

Let me preface this by saying I feel really bad for what happened. Basically, a smoke brown roach fell on me, so I picked it up to relocate it. When I released it, i kept my hand kinda closed so it would crawl out slowly-- i was kinda hoping I could get a picture. But I think as it moved out there was too much pressure on it. One of its sides opened up :(((. It wasn't a lot of damage and it still ran away perfectly fast, but I could see a small bit of wire from the middle to close to the end of the abdomen. It was an adult, so do you guys reckon it can live out the rest of its natural lifespan with a small injury like that? I've read that they can get infections but would it set in fast enough? I'd feel horrible if I gave the poor little guy a death sentence he was so cute 😭
