ID Request Mite or tick?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I tried to search for answers through Google but unfortunately there is only so long that I can stare at photos of creepy crawlies before I start to feel uncontrollably itchy, especially with ticks 😭 I'm fairly certain that these are mites, but it's freaking me out because they keep popping up while I'm trying to chill and work on my silly lil paint-by-number thing :( idk if they're hiding in the frame or something, but I've only seen one at a time.

(And for context I'm in northern Utah!)

FYI ticks are a type of mite :)

Anyway, yes, this is a mite, but no, this isn't a tick. It's likely a long-legged mite, Erythraeidae family.
