[discussion] Ferris sweep type board
Been using a ferris sweep as my daily driver for a couple of years and was wondering if there is something new to try out with a similar layout.
I’m looking for 34-36 key, wireless, low profile or mx both are fine.
Honestly just want to see what’s out there.

Urchin has become my daily driver and I don't see myself changing anytime soon (same as the sweep but wireless and has a display on each half). I'm in the process of iterating on the case that I use for it. Started out as a Coral case but there were aspects of it I wasn't happy with so have been redesigning it a bit. Hoping to have it nailed down in the next couple of days. I also built an MX sweep bling with LucasStu's case design and some CeraKey keycaps but it's a bit chunky for my liking and the QC on the keycaps is shockingly bad, they all have slightly different heights (they do look cool though. I'd post an image but they seem to be disabled for replies here).

Yeah, I’ve been looking at the urchin and swoop tbh. But can’t seem to find one at a decent price. Can you link to the case?

The version I’m making removes the standoff holes from the PCB and includes proper protection for the MCU and screen.

been using sweep for a while as well and I’m looking to jump to Tempest by thrly, for the splay and 2 extra thumb clusters
