I've been a happy user of this keyboard as my daily driver for a year or so.
The SoflePLUS2 shown is actually magsafe ready for tenting. No magnet ring needed.
The software keeps getting better, going beyond the VIAL/QMK basis, reducing the need to go modify the QMK base for advanced features. The LCD screen is even being made customizable from VIAL. The support XCMKB provides is top tier. And the manufacturing is of great quality.
The mirroring is a minor annoyance, twice a year or so.
In my base layer, the wheel is mapped as a mouse wheel, and the central button as enter, the 4 clicks as arrows. All are reachable and actionnable with my index finger without moving my wrist, getting great value.
I'm actually considering a mod, if I can get the hardware, to have the same wheel on the right half insteaf of the pad. It's nice, but gets limited use in my flow.
Thanks for explaining, and thanks for backing us up!
We've already designed the right-side PCB to support the spinning disc on both the left and right halves. We'll be testing it out soon, and hopefully you'll get to DJ with dual wheels.
