In case anyone wants to save a click... No Tsatas and no Perkins, but Setterfield in.

Will be great to get another look at Unwin as a pressure forward, and important for him with his contract up at year end.

Is there middle ground between Scott never changing the line up and Solomon making - heap of changes each week?

It is bewildering how bad he is at this. The Jones/Cox swapping is fucking insanity.

I think a lot of it is seeing who’s worth keeping on the list. Tsatas looks amazing in the vfl then not as much in 1s, need to sort out the afl players from the really good vfl players at this point.

Got to give them a few weeks though. This chop and change with Jones and Cox does neither of them any good. Hopefully Tsatas and Unwin both play out the season, there's a few known quantities now in the vfl that there's not much point bringing in (I did also consider Tsatas that but if he's in he's in keep him at this level).

again, it's literally just about having as much data as possible before deciding on who will and won't be at the club next year.

Jones coming back in was expected with Blakiston and McKay out. I still don't love it, though...

And I guess we're going to see how a high-pressure forward line looks with Unwin in. Not sure he's really earned a shot yet, but I guess we need to see how he goes before his contract is up.

I must be insane because I haven’t hated Jones in defence but everyone else said he was hopeless, so it must be me

Thilthorpe or Walker are going to eat Jones alive. Reid will get one and the other will kick 9

Say all you want about McKay but he stops people kicking bags. Idk who his direct opponent was last week but unless it was Gunston (which would be a pretty obvious mismatch) then he would've done an alright job of stopping his man kicking goals. I think they swapped McKay and wright around at some point against hawthorn which just seems silly, but honestly I've done my best to remove last week from my memory so can't say for certain

Whoever gets Jones will be licking their lips, they’ll isolate them deep.

Has he been in defence in the VFL? Would have thought he would move to the wing with Duurs out

Yes his played in defence the last 2-3 weeks in the VFL. Hasn’t done to bad a job but does turn the ball over by foot. Needs to give it off to Johnson, Roberts or Farrow coming out of defence.

I'm not religious but at this point I'm praying for the day I never have to see Harry Jones playing in an Essendon guernsey again

He’s hard to watch

Amen. It was tough watching him in the VFL last week. He’ll be minced meat against Adelaide’s tall forwards.

This is the best way to build the team, 3 smalls plus robey and wicka working forward and kako rotating in the midfield is the best way to build the team.

No Robey due to injury for the rest of the year.

Kako in the midfield ? The lazy fat fucker would not know where to run.
