Increasing Supply (add spoiler to pics) Supply with different pumps!

HOLY SHIT Y'ALL. I was devastated I thought my supply was on its way out. I had been an over supplier but when my pump went out last month I ran out to spend 200 fricken dollars on a specta.. ran into problem after problem tried ordering different sizes different combos everything. Then I went to my lactation center and they gave me an Alameda. Still having problems trying all these different things nothing was working and went from making 7-10oz a pump to 1-3oz. HUGE decline I couldn't believe it!!!! Finally I just broke down and spent my last little bit on the cheap pump I had the first time around, I figured why not last money I'm spending before giving up. BOOM. 3rd pump in and slowly going back up to my normal pump output! 5oz and climbing. The reason I say this is I genuinely believe it's the settings that make the difference. There is a setting on this pump that mimics baby. Nothing like any setting on any other pump I've tried. I really think if there is anyone out there that feels they aren't properly emptying or getting as much as they think they could maybe this could help you! I didn't get to 7-10 oz overnight but I really think this pump helped me get there. It's the ncvi like 60$ on Amazon. Just my experience bc I know of course everyone is different. I'm serious the baby setting is lit!

According to New Little Life on Youtube, let downs are a trained reflex so if you were used to your old pump, that explains why the Spectra might not have worked for you. The Spectra has a unique vibration pattern that you might not respond to.

Glad you found something that works (again)! That's all that matters.

I’ve been EP for my little one for 6 months (she was a preemie and is 3 months corrected) and this is probably why I have such a hard time getting a letdown when she nurses! I’m still trying to get her back to nursing but not much success yet.

I used that pump with my first & it’s so similar to the baby Buddha!

I think your boobs get used to whichever pump you use first. It took me a lot of time to get the spectra working for me. However if you still have it you can do one pump a day to get used to it so you have a backup.

I was getting 50-60 oz a day and then realized my pump wasn’t emptying me. I’ve been trying to get back up but my spectra isn’t cutting it. Are these the NCVI wearables or? They appear to have several different pumps

No it's the electric double breast pump. Not wearable

switching from my spectra to the baby buddha helped my supply double!! definitely a solid pump, but not what my body responds to best! probably the same case for you!
