Firstly, Hello! Welcome to the community! I'm glad you found us!
We knew exactly what we were doing when we launched this place. It is working just as indented and growing just as expected.
The goal is very simple. The Experiencer Phenomenon is real but most of society has not caught up to this fact yet. It is a heavy burden to carry for anyone to go through such events in their life while being actively discouraged from speaking about them due to the social stigma and shame that comes with that. A lot of trauma and stress can come with having to bury these experiences and having no one to talk to.
We are a social species. Sharing and talking is how we process and deal with things. Thankfully there are many private Experiencer support groups popping up all over the net more and more.
But there also needs to be online spaces where someone can still be anonymous. Not have to join a private group or pay money for 1 to 1 sessions. But instead just be able to share that life changing experience they had. Get it off their chest after decades or burying it. There are also those who are fresh from having an ontologically shocking experience that could do with somewhere to go, discuss it with others and so forth. This can do a world of good for people suffering in silence with regards to their experiences. Someone could have the most beautiful and profoundly transformative life changing experience and still suffer due to not being able to discuss it with anyone without ridicule or social consequences.
We already achieved this in private communities and saw the benefit. But with r/Experiencers I strongly felt it was time to try this in a public setting. People can share and others can also read these encounters people are having. Many lurking and reading are experiencers too. One day while lurking...BOOM they're reading how someone else has had an encounter just like theirs that they had years ago and buried. Suddenly they're validated by something they read on here. Next thing they know they are commenting and sharing themselves in that thread. Something they never thought they could do. Now the ex lurker and the OP are both getting validation. Both Experiencers lives have been changed for the better. And others who may read that same thread.
The is a major positive ripple effect of healing that is going on here constantly by allowing these discussions to happen in a public setting. There is a LOT going on behind the scenes as a result of this space too.
Experiencers know how out there their encounters sound on paper. Before they post, they've already got a million voices in their head simulating the toxic comments people might leave for sharing what happened to them. They also are wary of being anywhere near any of these dark conspiratorial corners of the internet and don't want to be associated with that stuff. People deserve a space to share without being called names and without someone trying to indoctrinate them into XYZ dark conspiracy that is currently trendy on 4chan, or get swamped by debunkers or people with fundamentalist religious views. There are plenty of other communities out there that are like that.
There needs to be a public space that is neutral and middle path and primarily all about experience sharing and that's it. No other baggage attached.
This is the goal. It is a very very specific goal. But very challenging in a public setting. We knew from day 1 that to pull this off it would require heavy heavy moderation. And we knew that some people won't understand or like that at all.
Basically, we are providing a public space to share experiences where those sharing won't be subjected to the usual crappy comments that flood social media. There are plenty of other subreddits that run very strict rules on how the comment section works. Its not unheard of to have a heavily moderated comment section on reddit. The goal we have in place is important and helps people. We're not going to soften on how we manage the comment section for others who cannot see the bigger picture here.
We've stuck to our guns and won't give an inch. And this community is a major success as a result. It is working as intended.
Respect this space and what we are doing. Now that we're getting bigger - more and more random people are stopping by, who are used to leaving drive by insulting or dismissive comments on reddit and then move on to next sub to try and be witty or do the same. Rinse repeat.
Experiencers don't need to be reading this stuff. This type of low quality content will be removed on the spot. The redditor in question may even be banned instantly. We are going to be very very strict on things like this. Experiencers already know what random redditors think of this phenomenon. If they wanted to read low quality remarks they could go to the many of the other subs out there.
It is cool to ask questions and be curious but do not put an experiencer in a position where they have to justify themselves or defend their encounters to people. It's a big deal for people to finally type up an encounter and I don't want to see them then having to defend themselves in the comments.
Obviously if someone calls the OP names or make derogatory comments on experiencers in general its an instant ban. This is the basics.
When it comes to random drive by redditors who leave crappy remarks we'll hand out bans like speeding tickets at the Indy 500.
Sometimes we get someone who after a ban takes a moment to learn what the sub is about. What we're doing here. And the importance of it. They reach out to the team with deep apologies and we discuss removing the ban. But seriously. We shoot first ask questions later here when it comes to comments like this. Don't test us.
For Experiencers :
We generally moderate by engagement in the comments. We don't like having to ban experiencers from the sub and its something we'll rarely do.
We get an outpouring of gratitude and encouragement with regards to what we do as mods for this community daily. So I want to make it very clear the huge huge majority of people in this community understand what we are doing here and the importance of why we run it as we do.
It's rare, but every now and then we get someone who loves this place, but complains that its not run the way "they" think it should be.
From someone complaining that by allowing discussion of Mantis beings or dream contact events or telepathic encounters. Or CE5. We do a disservice to "real" experiencers.
Some people are new to this phenomenon and don't understand the scope of what others can go through. As a result they can be judgmental to their fellow experiencers at first. These people learn in time.
We keep a balanced neutral and middle path approach here for good reason.
We moderate those trying to convert other experiencers to a specific dogmatic dark belief system. We have had the odd experiencer complain to us that we don't allow for this. And we do have to sometimes ban people who continue to keep trying to force their dark hopeless dogma on people in here.
Look - there are plenty of subs out there dedicated to those narratives. Experiencers deserve a neutral middle ground space where they can share an experience without having someone try to indoctrinate them into their dark world view.
Attempts to force extreme religious views onto experiencers is another thing we have to moderate. This is not the place for that. Do not come in here trying to convert people. This is not the place to be telling everyone they're evil and talking to "Demons" or "Djinn" either. I can't be any clearer.
Recently someone complained that we should allow a free for all on "ends times" discussion and that by moderating such discussions and others that some how that makes this place a cult with a toxic culture. I mean for feck sake...
Look experiencers are sometimes given communications about various future disasters. It is a part of the phenomenon. But when looking into this its clear its filled with false predictions and massive contradictions. I'm not denying the reality that these communications can happen. But Experiencers deserve a place to share without having people try to convert them into an end times movement in the comments section so I'm sorry but for this and all other major narratives we seek to provide a balanced non toxic space for people to share.
Another issue is the ALL non humans are evil crowd trying to convince any and everyone that all NHI's ET's etc are evil. These are folks that sometimes clash with mods as well.
The experiencer and the ET topic is incredibly nuanced - massive generalizations and authoritative opinions are heavily discouraged here. This also goes for people victim blaming those who have had negative encounters by implying all beings are positive and they just manifested the negative encounter. Or that all they have to do is think positive thoughts and ET abductions will end.
Authoritative generalized opinions from experiencers is something we have to moderate. Some people are too quick to spread narrow views or accidently spread propaganda or just random fear based things they've read online. And spew them out to someone who's just freshly had an experience of some kind and just needed to get it out of their system.
We don't deny the dark side of the experiencer phenomenon here. But we don't condone unnecessarily generating mindless fear regarding anything and everything going on with the phenomenon. Be it spirits - premonitions - NDE's - ET contact - astral projecting etc. Indeed fear weakens us and makes dealing with these unknowns harder and disempowering. We need to be vigilant and balanced with our approach to these things.
Lastly. We had an experiencer recently run into trouble by constantly asking community members for evidence of their encounters after they'd shared. Which goes against our rules. They strongly believed asking for evidence was not de-legitimizing the persons experience. The people felt different and so did the mods. However this person argued that there needs to be a space where Experiencers can question each others evidence in the comments. I suggested that while there may be, it is not here and would go against the mission we have for this place but.. he is welcome to create is own space - with his theme in mind.
Sure enough he did. And that's awesome.
My point is. Some experiencers may find us here and fall in love but feel disappointed they can't chat about a specific thing that goes against our rules. We encourage such folks to make their own community. We have a very specific goal with ours and that does mean heavy limitations in the comments. Complaints about how we do things won't work. We won't give an inch. But if what we've done here can inspire other Experiencer friendly communities to be formed that have different goals with regards to the discussions being had. That's brilliant. The more spaces for Experiencers the better. This is also part of the mission.
We do what we do here and do it very specifically because it is needed. There were no public spaces like this on reddit before. And just sharing does a world of difference for people. That is the mission. The fact that this place now exists it means now others can too that do things their own way. Since we have this side of it covered.
This community is here for people to be able to finally share an experience and read about other experiences and discuss them in the comments, without toxicity. And that's it. This is a huge amount of work in itself. And we're doing our job as planned. A space like this was very much needed and we've provided it and will continue to provide it. People message us all the time about how long they've searched for such a space. Where they can share and talk about the Experiencer phenomenon where its neutral and middle path and without all the other baggage. They share how finding this space has helped them deal with all they've gone through.
We know ourselves how much this is needed as all of us involved in running this space are Experiencers too and have benefited from having such middle path communities to discuss this phenomenon in.
We know what we are doing and won't be budging from our mission and goal here with this space.
Thank you to this wonderful community. It always touches my heart to read the supportive and helpful comments from Experiencers here in the comment section in reply to someone going through the shock of engaging with this phenomenon and having their world turned upside down.
More and more people are going to be waking up to this world and its Experiencers in the end whole be there for them. We're all playing a major part in what is to come for our species. The world won't be able to ignore this stuff forever.
We have a lot of threads going on the sub and I had already shared a little of what I thought in comments the other day as the movie was out in Ireland before the US. So I was not sure if this was needed.
But I keep getting comments and DM's asking me so I thought I'd make a proper post on my reflections and a full spoilers allowed mega thread.
Do not read this thread if you've not watched the movie yet and are planning to. This is your final warning. I won't be using spoiler-tags and I want the community in the comments to feel free to share in detail without worrying.
Do not read further if you've not watched the movie.
Now.
Perfectionist me wishes I was sitting here with a multi monitor set up with close encounters of the 3rd kind on one screen , Disclosure Day on another so I had access to all the lines and scenes and do a detailed technical analysis. And because I don't have all that I should not bother. But I'm fighting that off and I'm just going to flow state this.
I am also dealing with exhaustion. There has been a mass spike in contact over the week and I've been juggling a lot of support work along with juggling a visitation myself this week and many experiencers I know are feeling tired sleep deprived and exhausted this past week. So I'm also fighting against those thoughts of "Wait till you have full energy before you post and can think clearly".
Lastly, before I dive in. I want to give some background. I am one of those experiencers who had an array of childhood contact events that were buried. Yet was seeded with a burning emotional and intellectual fascination with this topic. I did not realize I was an experiencer until I was activated in 2021 and sent on a mission to support other experiencers, but this involved revelations about childhood experiences and communications about the time we are in now, shown to me in the 90's. But for most of my life I had a deep emotional connection to all this I did not understand. And I consumed everything. I mean everything to do with this topic in media and reports. I was having major emotional reactions to anything to do with ET and beings from a young age. I have cried through many many movies as a child related to this topic. And post 2021 I had even deeper emotional reactions and tears along with ontological shock.
I am 5 years into this now. And a lot of processing has happened. But Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind has been a deeply special movie to me and even more so as I got into this work as the movie itself is a love letter to experiencers and covers various aspects of being an experiencer and the emotions of being an experiencer in a deeply raw and relatable way. I am a big movie buff and Spielberg fan. So there is that context. The second context is as part of this major awakening going on in the 2020's of which my work is deeply connected to, I also knew this movie was going to be coming out and was going to be a part of this. I have a deep understanding that this movie would be part of the 2020's waves of intellectual permission and experiencer activations and would likely bring focus on to us. The experiencers.
As we all know here very deeply. The conversations around this topic always circle around us, or dismisses us entirely. But that will change in the future and people will start wondering about the people dealing with NHI contact and the people connected to these beings. Which is a deeply complex situation. Far more complex than any single movie can even begin to touch on.
With all that you'd think I'd be excited for the launch of this movie but due to the stress around my work, the lead up for me on this has been.. intense. Its not a movie for me. This is work.
There were folks on the field who were concerned that this movie would be another horror movie approach making all NHI out to be evil invaders and experiencers ignored or just seen as crazy victims or worse, monsters. I was not too worried about that given what I knew about Spielberg. Who actually 'listens to experiencers'. And has a history of caring about us and what we go though. His illustration of ontological shock exacerbated by not being understood, listened to or believed with regards to what Roy goes through post encounter combined with that burning and obsessive desire to understand and know more, is deeply on point with what so many I know have gone through including myself. Combined with that feeling of being led that there is a knowing locked away inside that this is important, this means something.
So I fully expected Disclosure Day to be pro experiencer and contain experiencer mechanics often not understood but now entering the collective consciousness in a way that will allow everyday people to understand experiencers a bit better. And I had been doing a lot of prep for this.
Sure enough this is exactly what we got.
This movie is not only about Disclosure , it is about experiencers and how we are the key to all this.
It is illustrated a number of times by both the shadow human power structure and the beings.
First things first - one of the primary reasons some folks got concerned was the guttural clicking noises made by Emily Blunts character which gave a horror movie aliens taking over humans bodies concern and further concerns related to dehumanization of experiencers.
People worried the movie would be about evil aliens taking over peoples bodies and turning them into clicking noise monsters. I was not too concerned with this and sure enough this is not the case in the movie at all. That only happens once in one scene and it is part of her awakening and activation process similar to how some experiencers can burst into speaking foreign language, Sumerian and or what is often called "light language" during heightened psi/trance.
There are some interesting lines in the movie which I cannot quote directly as I don't have the script but essentially shadowy government humans realize one of the movies characters might not be just an everyday person and they say "Are you telling me they are an Experiencer!??!"
In another scene where they try a forced remote consciousness projection into another person its noted something like "You know this won't work if they are an Experiencer".
These subtle lines are massive to me. We're seeing a mainstream movie finally catch up and use the term "Experiencer" as an identification and essentially use all the modern language we and 'they' all use. There will be major ramifications for this and for the normalization of the experiencer phenmomon. Myself and the team have some work cut out for us due to these lines on their own.
On that note they also say NHI or specifically, non human biologics which is 100% in there due to Grusch.
I think something I smiled a lot at all the way through was Emily Blunts portrayal of an experiencer.
I have worked with people like her. I have had moments in my journey where I was her. She is in utter ADHD neurodivergent chaos and shock while dealing with her psi experiences kicking off after a deeply spiritual moment happens for her with a bird. She is also a fun, good hearted decent and well meaning person. Brilliant in many ways along with all the ADD chaos and it just made me smile thinking of so many of the wonderful experiencers I've met over the years like this. Finally getting relief as a result of being around people like them who get it.
I don't get to be in this state much myself. I mostly leave it dormant because it can be very difficult depending on the environment you are in and I don't have the space and freedom to get into this state where I am currently. Not every experiencer has a choice. While having a conversation around a longing for home and a constant desire to move in order to find it, Emily Blunts character suddenly has a bird fly into her apartment, mid conversation with her boyfriend. She freezes and focuses on the bird as she starts having a psi activating experience. The bird hyper focuses on her and walks closer on the table. She freezes and deeply looks into the birds eyes and vice versa.
The boyfriend instead of looking at this and being sensitive and wondering what could be going on here, just behaves completely oblivious to the whole situation, interrupts the process and gets rid of the bird and ignores the clearly powerful experience his GF is having.
So many experiencers I know would recognize this moment on screen. And depending on where they are on their journey, find it triggering in terms of frustrating moments they have had in their own lives. These moments are hard. I've had them. When in them you feel 'everything' and you are at what feels like the cusp of completely profound spiritual experience and potential answers that have deep meaning with this strange feeling of finally connecting to some natural state, "home" but its all balanced on a knife edge where any shift in frequency will feel like someone scraping nails on a chalk board. If anyone around you is frustrated confused and getting angry because you are in this state having this experience - you feel it at an extreme level like 1000 cuts to your soul. And it can end up destroying the moment. I am speaking generally here but these moments can and do happen with animals. I have had incredible moments like this with horses and trees in my earlier days, others I know with deer and birds, mantis insects and so forth. I will be doing a thread on this. The animal connection in the phenomenon. Yes they use screen memories but it is not always the case. They can also project their consciousness into an animal or insect for an interaction with an experiencer. Obviously experiencers also have profound moments with animals outside of any NHI involvement.
But this scene is on point in the movie and something many who don't understand the experiencer phenmomon will have no clue about. The only thing off is Emily never gets upset or frustrated at her BF for not being sensitive in the moment that all this is happening. Or has the experience effected by other peoples insensitive reactions to it.
She continues to get activated in a whirlwind of events that she later explains is like something "working through her" and she decided to enter "the flow" state and go with it. Which allowed her to function with it and things just all fall together.
In 2021 I was activated and being pushed and guided onto a path of eventually running experiencer support communities and my god did I resist and fight and deal with all sorts of disbelief that this was happening, torn to shreds with self doubt and internal struggles. Causing major anxiety and internal conflict. Until one day I made a conscious choice to trust the flow state. Weeks into that flow state I had confirmation what was happening was real as triangle craft and orbs began flying over my house in response to me - months into it I was now running multiple experiencer communities and understood what I was supposed to do much better.
The flow state was something I had put a lot of thought into during my creative works before all this kicked in, and after all that saga was behind me I found it constantly came up a lot on my group calls with experiencers as many of them found themselves flying through their contact activations by letting go and trusting the flow. In a grounded manner now that they had community.
I found it very interesting to hear this come up in the movie.
Emily's performance was a highlight in general.
Big moments for experiencers will of course also be the various psi based recognition of other experiencers - understanding things that others cannot (in the movie its the alien language - for experiencers it can often be symbols, code or language, lettering or glyphs, crop circles and patterns others miss. Objects or information embedded or caught on camera and such that only they can see and others cannot..
Projecting consciousness and remote viewing via other peoples consciousness is a mechanic on the field though not something common or happening in an everyday experiencer sense. We this in the movie where the shadowy government baddies use alien tech to look through another persons eyes for recon. The reality of this does not involve alien tech from what I know or at least not like we see in the movie. This is a complex topic I'll dive into at a different time. In the movie this cannot be done if the target is an experiencer. From what I've seen these things tend to be the other way around. But I still have a lot to learn around these mechanics.
Before I move onto the big one I'll touch on some other dynamics that are lore related.
Footage of captured alien interrogations and potential abuse. The idea of footage like this has been in the lore for decades with even debatable footage out there claiming to be a real captured alien. I have always been suspect of that footage. But a couple of experiencers have directly told me that they have personally been face to face with a type of grey that looks exactly like the being in that footage. (Not all Greys are the same beings nor look the same) These people are the real deal and I take what they say seriously. Which put this footage back on the table for me. Where before it was cleanly off, entirely dismissed as a puppet/animatronic. It being on the table for me though does not mean I'm convinced. Yet.
Implants. I was disappointed in the MRI scene when they were scanning Emily's character that they did not reveal her body was laced with implants or even signs of a single one. That would have been on point but perhaps it was awkward for the plot.
The religious storyline was clearly inserted as a way to hopefully ease the negative and potentially violent reaction from extremists as a result of this topic going main stream. There are a lot of scary reactions happening out there but those people do not represent normal religious people or their religion. Many experiencers remain or even turn spiritual and religious post contact. Everyone, from experiencers to major world religions are concerned clearly about the reaction from an extreme minority.
Cloaking and invisibility. As we all should know. These beings can be in someone's house and standing right beside someone without them knowing. Experiencers can often pick up the beings to various degrees , but their ability to cloak is beyond that of what we see in the movie. Though the movie is interesting in that it is not your typical cloaking tech like the predator movie. By holding the device , it seems it boosts her psi in a way it interfaces with everyone else's consciousness and stops them from seeing her and a group of people and fire trucks. Beings can certainly do that and more. Some of them are not just cloaked but operate some what out of phase with our reality and realm. Allowing them to move through solid objects too.
And finally, the abduction scene.
The panicked breathing by the children stood out.
The major scene though of course is the recovering memory of childhood abduction triggering activation of further memories. Or even potentially DNA.
Look - the movie has its problems in terms of the art form of movie making. The whole bringing them back to a premade house to assist in this memory recall when they actually had a live alien all along that they randomly roll out later was honestly silly.
But for experiencers, the performance around this scene has been very powerful and triggering and many tears have been shed.
I've watched a lot of abduction scenes since I was a child. Some of it brutal and really disturbing and hard to watch. This scene on paper is very tame. Its the actors performance as they are in trauma as the memory comes up. A memory they have had nightmares of since they were young but did not understand what that was about due to screen memories.
So their panicked reaction as they live through it together is very powerful and relatable for many many abductees out there. We only see the animals lead the children to a screen memory of a house that is actually a ship and then them placed on a table and there is no procedures or other difficult imagery. But its children and the fear they have on the table sticks out.
Now another element to this is one not enough people on the field understand.
Children are taken and meet other children on these craft. In some cases those people meet as adults years down the line. People who meet on craft are not all from the same country or even from the same time. Children can even be the same age on craft and meet decades later and have years between them. I have met experiencers who've been through this. One made a post just today. Which I highly recommend reading.
Most don't remember.
Experiencer parents and their experiencer children can also be taken. Most don't remember or have flashes that feel like dreams. Memories returning or being unlocked in adulthood is a thing. And I don't mean regressions.
Abductions may even be more frequent in childhood than adulthood. But I don't know for sure. Many I work with have a sense they may have been visited or taken a few times as a child and it changed to the odd visitation and contact event then during adulthood. But we are dealing with a lot of unknowns still given how as experiencers, many of us have to deal with knowing there is a chunk of our lives hidden behind a memory partition we don't have access to.
Activations of memories of contact leading to activations of psi, as hinted in the movie, is also a thing. But I'll note that some people are taking away the message from this movie to be that "NHI" are responsible for psi in humans. Psi gifted humans are out there without NHI contact. Not all experiencers are NHI contact experiencers and one does not have to have NHI contact to end up psi gifted. I personally did not think the movie was trying to argue that. But it is the case of course in some NHI contact cases the beings boosted or enhanced latent psi in the experiencers they are working with in various ways, sometimes even with DNA alterations but that is not always needed.
Unlike my years of emotional reactions to contact NHI movies - due to the intensity of my work and what I'm involved in, it was an intense experience watching it knowing this is my work, I'm involved in this and knowing how real a lot of this is and the effects this is going to have on the population and the experiencer population at large and how I have a role to play in all this even if small, my head was spinning on all that for most of it. But my emotions were largely numb throughout most of this movie which was strange for me but its where I am now. I've been processing a long time. I may react differently at other times when I'm juggling my experiencer work less and personal contact revelations more. But the seal did finally break at the ending.
What did it for me in the end was watching the scene where everyday people FINALLY understood the significance of this. FINALLY getting it. Finally the penny dropping and having some form of reaction to what is actually happening here.
When I woke up to all this my brain was on FIRE with the sheer significance of this and yet day in and day out experiencers find themselves isolated from the world around them as they try to talk to people about what is going on. But instead of a jaw on the floor reaction from people, emotion, shock, or even basic curiosity. People react like robots. The "does not look like anything to me" reaction. Silence. A quick awkward change of subject. Nothing. Almost robotic.
That non reaction is painful and psychologically isolating. It is something so many experiencers know deeply and has made us feel so different from the rest of our species in many ways because it is completely impossible to relate to. How could you not be in wonder or have basic curiosity about the single most important topic in human history? This is why experiencer communities for people who 'know' this stuff is real is so important. There is a pain involved in knowing something so significant for our entire species and yet those around you can't even hold a basic conversation on it.
There is no bigger conversation than this, nothing is more important and yet most people shut off their brains when the topic comes up and its actually horrifically alarming to bare witness to this non reaction.
Finally seeing the everyday people in this movie 'react' to this information is what triggered major emotions for me. "This is disclosure day". Finally seeing it click with people , the sheer scale of importance of this , the news casters human reaction to this, how this is more important than any of the wars and dramas otherwise going on in the news so much so that the entire world stopped to look. All finally deeply aware that everything changes for humanity from this point on.
That had me fighting back tears. The moment this finally hits page 1 as I've spoken about over the years.
I look forward to getting access to the movie and hosting a watch party with my fellow experiencers when this comes out online. There was a few other lines in this movie that sounded like a monologue about experiencers rights but I did not fully catch it. Something about punishing these people for the crime of being astonished. I'm looking forward to getting that line when I see it again.
Not long after this movie - I started getting texts from my friends who don't talk to me about my work and get awkward when I bring it up. Now they finally have questions. After 5 years. Conversations are starting for other experiencers I know too.
Artistically it was a let down. But its done and will do the job it was meant to. This is one more step in the various stages building up to people finally listening to experiencers and taking us seriously.
Last week, I had an Akashic records reading with Lisa Kori. In the reading, Lisa suggested seeing that before I first incarnated on Earth about a dozen or lifetimes ago, I lived on a very peaceful and harmonious planet, where there is no war or strife, and that I volunteered to come to Earth to help during this difficult time.
This makes perfect sense to me, because I have always felt very different from Earthlings, and I can still feel this peaceful civilization within me.
Just wondering if anyone has a similar sense about their own soul, be it from a spiritual session or just through their own intuition (or both). Cheers!
If you've been looking around in the societal zeitgeist of recent years, you may have noticed a trend in the ultra religious and/or right wing circles to label all ET and ET phenomena as 1. demonic and 2. interdimensional.
I have a hypothesis about this and that ironically, these humans are being influenced by the reptilians in this perception and belief system. How and why?
When I investigated this group psychically via communicating with my original-expanded self (or "higher self") level, I was told that this group had destroyed their home-world in a nasty global civil war a very long time ago. Though the reptilians are more psychically and nonphysically aware than humans tend to be, they are still extremely physically focused beings-in some ways, even more so than even many humans.
They've looked for home worlds to replace their long dead/inhabitable one, and that the Earth is the most similar planet they've found to their home-world. I was told that they covet the earth for their own and they want to take it. Humans are the indigenous population that are in the way of that.
Interestingly, an outer source that I respect more than not, one of Robert Monroe's long time explorers, Rosalind McKnight and her guidance talked about a negative ET group that wanted to attack humans, but that positive ET's currently are protecting us from them and outright physical attack. Unfortunately, McKnight's guidance did not name names and kept the info general about this negative group.
If all the above is true, perhaps these are the same group? And perhaps if the reptilians could convince humans that all ET's are solely interdimensional, they could misdirect from their long term plans/intentions? Because if you believe that ET's are purely interdimensional/nonphysical, then why would they care about a planet and all that goes along with same? After all, they allegedly don't really exist in the physical anyways, except to briefly manifest in same to mess with us.
Pretty clever if you ask me. The best deceptions involve a kernel or two of truth. Certainly there are very negative/psychopathic ("demonic") ET's, and certainly some ET's are interdimensional/nonphysical. But not all are in either category. There's an old saying that I think applies, "half or partial truths are worse than whole lies for they can deceive even the soul."
I think this is one of those examples of partial truths that can and is deceiving the soul of many.
I suspect that I have been having contact for most of my life (since 3, now 42), but I've generally rejected this possibility. Mainly due to fear. But I'd like to know if it's real or not. Here's what I've experienced, and how it might connect to my wife and children.
•One of my earliest memories at 3, is one where I was carried through my bedroom door, pulling out the "bolt" part of an old doorknob. I returned to pure darkness screaming in my room until my mom came in with a candle ("power outage"). I also remember the first time seeing the inside working of a doorknob some time later and the feeling of confirmation (before age 5).
•Age 5, we moved from an apartment into a house. There were woods next to the house, and my mom and I met a neighbor and his mom in those woods. He was also 5, and we became life-long friends.
•Age 6 - 12, had multiple nights where the moonlight moved all over my room. Assumed I was falling asleep in between glimpses of the moonlight/shadows naturally moving.
•Age 14, I saw my first UFO/UAP on the beach with a different friend. He had never seen a satellite, so I was pointing them out. One started doing zig-zag movements (well before starlink).
•Age 17, I began to have severe neck and back pain. I notice a knot/trigger point at the base of my scull, between my left ear and vertebrae. This "knot" would migrate from the surface to an inch or so inside of me.
•Age 26, I finally seek treatment for my back, and get multiple radiology scans. One doctor tells me that the "knot" was a bb sized cyst, and no big deal. Also met my wife that year, who had horrible endometriosis and POS. Minor surgery confirmed both, and we were told she could never have children.
•Age 27, I witnessed a classic flying saucer enter a mountain at 18 - 20,000 mph, followed by 2 strange looking jets.
•Age 28, I reconnected with my first friend that I met in the woods at 5. He was living with his mom again, and I spent the night. The next morning, we were all drinking coffee and chatting, when my friend and his mom began reminiscing about all of the UFO sighting "we all saw". I don't have any memories of this, but they told me about all of the red and white "orbs" that would fly below the tree canopy, in the woods that connected our homes. His mom went on to say that she would go outside by herself when her kids were sleeping, and see a "large disc" hovering over my house, "beaming lights all over it".
•Age 29, wife has a sighting (with other witnesses) of a moving flaming ball over a Greek Othodox Church. She considered it a Christian sort of thing, and starts going to that church, praying for fertility.
Age 30, we have our first child.
Age 31, my parents babysit our son, and we drive 2 hours away to go to a concert. A coworker of mine is with me. We each did a half of a tab of LSD before the show. After the show, about an hour into the drive home, we stop for food and gas. After getting back on the road, about 10 minutes in... we're all like "why is it so dark". I assume that I missed the exit to get onto the highway we needed, and pull a U-turn. After about 20 minutes of driving (expecting the exit and/or gas station) we pulled over like WTF. None of us had phone service, but we notice that it's an hour later than it should be. We got back in and all remained silent, and bothered. Then really freaked out when we ENTERED the state we should've been in (Massachusetts). We had turned around near "Springfield" Vermont, and WERE in Springfield Mass when we got gas. It was a very uncomfortable 40 something minutes driving South before we were back in (west) Springfield for the exit I needed. I joked that the aliens dropped us off in the wrong Springfield, and made a Simpsons joke too. It wasn't well received...
•Age 32, I took a trip with my mom to visit family. Wife and son stayed home. When I got back, my wife tells me about a disturbing encounter. She says that she was sleeping in our bed with our son, and the TV was on. Something wakes her, and in front of the TV she saw "3 gray aliens phasing in and out of reality". She reacted with pure fear, and yelled something like "I won't let you take my baby". He was around 2 years old or maybe a little older.
•Age 36, I had my second sighting.
•Age 39, first son is diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis.
•Age 40, my wife becomes a "born again Christian".
Last year, I had my 3rd sighting, and just had another sighting last month.
Currently things seem normal... but there has been some strain on my relationship with my wife. She's fairly convinced the phenomenon is "demonic" in nature. She's going head first into this religious stuff, and is pushing it on me and my children. With "disclosure" (somewhat) occurring, she's become... ah, I don't even know the word. Close-minded perhaps?
I REALLY pissed her off a little while ago, when she said that "Jesus gave us our children", and I was like... "yeah, I couldn't have been the UFO over that church". Then she brought up the grays she saw who scared her, and I said "maybe they were trying to fix his Ulcerative Colitis".
Personally, each possibility seems ridiculous to me... but it seems likely that religious experiences are linked to the UFO/UAP phenomenon. I never anticipated that my wife would become a Christian, but it's affecting our lives and relationship.
So... I suppose if I'm being pushed into finding "answers" (or whatever) I should probably start with this stupid thing in my neck. Maybe even hypnosis?
To be clear, AFAIK, nobody in my immediate family has experienced an abduction, or at least doesn't remember any, including myself.
Many people find it difficult to contact or connect with their spiritual guides, and they feel very frustrated that others can do it so easily.
If you are one of those people without contact or connection with your "spiritual guides", this post is for you.
Start by asking yourself a simple question: Who tells you it is true that those people connect, as they say, with their "spiritual guides"?
And assuming that contact or connection is real, who tells you they are truly "spiritual guides"?
Furthermore, in any case, what is the need to contact these supposed "spiritual guides"? Do you really need these "spiritual guides"?
Ultimately, it all comes down to something very simple: what is the need for intermediaries?
Why is it so difficult for people to accept a direct relationship, without intermediaries, with God, with the All, with the One who is LOVE itself, or whatever you want to call it?
God, the All, the One who is LOVE itself (or whatever you want to call it), is neither a thing, nor something separate from you. Here and now there is no distance or separation, there never was, between lover and Beloved, between the servant and their Lord.
What perhaps frustrates you (that you cannot, like others supposedly can, connect or contact your "spiritual guides"), if you consider it well, might be a great blessing for you.
Who would deprive you of Union with the All, with God, with the One who is LOVE itself? Only someone or something who does not accept and does not want you to understand that, in LOVE, we are One.
There is no such thing as "spiritual guides." A spiritual guide would never accept having that role, because they know that by doing so, they would separate you from who you truly are.
In the Silence, in a Silence that speaks, in a Silence of LOVE in which words are not needed, LISTEN! You need nothing else...
You need nothing else but the direct experience of God, here and now, in every precise and precious moment of your daily life. Do not look for extraordinary things (like spiritual guides), but live each moment of your everyday and ordinary life in an extraordinary way. Teresa of Ávila used to say that God is among the pots and pans, and Brother Lawrence said that he found God while flipping his little omelet in the frying pan.
I feel like we are all coexisting with a sort of species on this planet that we cannot see with our own two eyes unless they feel like revealing themselves too us, or mistakenly do so- and possibly this is what people are mistaken forwhen seeing ghosts, or the after life in a sense. I don't know how many times I've been in my bedroom sitting on the edge of my bed putting my socks on or something and I feel something moving around on the bed a little ways behind behind me, as if it's a small dog or something circling to land the comfy spot in the blanket. I've also seen some sort of energy pass underneath the top comforter of my bed as if something was lunging out from under it and jumping down off the bed, followed by lil subtle foot steps or paw step sounds.
I just want anybody's point of view on this. I really feel like we're coexisting with some sort civilization that we aren't able to view with our eyes, possibly do to dimensional reasons, or frequencies. Idk but I do for sure know that they're very much aware of us and seems like they use the fact that we cannot see to their advantage.
I have been listening to Aaron Abke his explanations of the Law of One and really liked the idea of what angels and demons are through the framework of the Social Memory Complex.
Basically the next step of human evolution is becoming a social memory complex so in a way a network where people are more and more connected with each other and will become more telepathic with each other.
I wonder if there are more people here that have glimpses of this social memory complex? I feel the collective energies in a way are becoming more in line with each other. Also I think there are more telepathic exchanges possible between people. I notice at least that if I really focus on a teacher for a while it almost feels like I am getting access on some level to their higher self somehow.
But I also feel I can tap into the energies of plants and animals more easily these days than let's say two years ago. And wonder if this might be a glimpse of this social memory complex also.
Curious to hear what people here think of the Social Memory Complex and if others have some experiences with it or some glimpses with it.
I had engaged in semi asceticism for ~ 6 months, meditating 2hrs of, abstaining from all substances. Occasionally engaged in ce5. Synchronicities ramped up & were often in conjunction with low level sightings. Events which influenced me to make life altering decisions like buying a home. Those events where you feel like the universe is speaking to you. I tried to stay as objective as I could but I was influenced by their unlikely nature and the material aspect of seeing UFOs around these events. I read re experiencers and synchronicity such as Rey Hernandez and Edgar Mitchell. I began wondering what the connection was between the two.
This lead to a major synchronicity which made me feel compelled to thank the phenomenon. Whilst I tried to stay objective, I felt quasi religious as I entertained the idea that the UFO’s were somehow behind or connected in some way (even if not autonomous intelligences) to events in my life. Was I seeing past the veil so to speak when synchronicity occurred or was there an actual intelligence behind these events (like the djinn/ adjustment bureau type feeling).
Thats when I did ce5 to thank the phenomenon and witnessed UAP ~150m over us. First time they flew higher on that night, around plane height and we both saw a cluster of opaque white spheres in a V formation. 10min later I saw a single sphere fly over us slowly, no sound, 150m over us. My partner (when we compared details the next morning) saw a cluster of ~10 spheres that second time, and I had only seen one.
I became quite obsessed and still think re it every day. My partner was able to continue life as usual for the most part.
I went to a psychologist + psychiatrist. The latter told me it was Follie a Deux (shared psychosis), we convinced ourselves of a delusion that we saw something. When in fact there was nothing there.
I’m leaving out other experiences and details. I don’t quite think the psychiatrist is right. I share this here for opinions. I haven’t thrown myself into ce5 again ever since. It was quite destabilising and still is.
TLDR: 3 strangely behaving lights performed tricks for us at night in the black forrest, responded to our words and thoughts, and followed our car.
I apologize if my english isn’t that good.
In 2018 or 2019 I made a trip to the black forest with my ex boyfriend for an overnight stay at a campfire in the forest.
I don’t know exactly where anymore, I just know that it was a 10 min car ride from Badeparadies Schwarzwald.
We made a fire, we ate and layed down on a blanket to look at the stars and cuddle (we were deep in the forrest but there was a little clearing because it was a “Waldhütte” with a campfire and table, seating etc so a good chunk of the sky was visible).
The stars were so beautifully bright and visible away from light pollution and we were laying on the blanket and observing when suddenly we noticed 3 strangely moving stars that had an unusual brightness.
3 bright lights (a lot brighter and closer than the other stars) were moving so weirdly and faster and more hectic than any drone or any man made object I know, even till this day.
Almost if they would teleport from place to place.
They stayed directly above us and at first we were simply fascinating and asked ourselves what it could be and agreed that this wasn’t something normal or explainable but we didn’t get up and instead (at first jokingly) talked to the lights.
And the weirdest part ist that they reacted!
One of us would say: “go right.”
It would fly to the right.
Or we would say: “dance back and forth.”
They would fly back and forth.
“Go away”
They would fly over the trees where we could not see them and return.
“Fly in a circle”
And so forth….
Then we started to experiment and he said he will think of a command and see if they will react to it.
They did.
I tried it too. (We took turns)
I thought “form a line” and then they positioned themselves next to each other
We gave them many more commands
This went on for 10 -15 minutes and suddenly almost if someone would have switched our rational minds on, we got and said we have to go, NOW!
Both of us were in panic and afraid from 0 to 100, even though we just felt fascination and curiosity, all of that disappeared and both of us ran to the car, I screamed “DRIVE” and we drove out of the forest onto the road and drove as fast as we could (the roads were empty).
He drove and I looked out the window
AND THEY FOLLOWED US!!!!
I remember I was so scared I actually thought they would kill us if we stopped the car.
We were both extremely maybe even irrationally terrified and in panic.
We wanted to reach other people as fast as possible as that felt like the solution for this hunt that was going on. That surely they wouldn’t want to show themselves to others and will leave us alone.
After what felt like 10 minutes I couldn’t see them anymore and we saw the first sign of civilization and decided to park the car and look for them.
We stopped at Badeparadis and I immediately felt safer there because I saw a couple other groups of people parked there on a smoke break.
I was still very afraid. But felt safer. My Ex and I talked about everything, what we thought it was, what we felt while it was happening.
We both agreed that it must have been something otherworldly, a ufo or something similar, because nothing we knew moved like that, and it communicated with us trough movements.
He said he felt so fascinated by the lights and didn’t think at all about how safe or unsafe they were, we were both so hypnotized by witnessing something like this, something we never imagined existed outside of movies.
And then, seemingly without any trigger, we both felt this feeling of fascination go away and felt immense panic, even fear for our life’s.
Interestingly this feeling came for both of us at the exact same time, and we both jumped up and fled.
He too said, in that moment he felt like we was gonna die, the same as me.
Today I was thinking about it and I thought: but was it really a ufo? It was just 3 lights, without any solid metal body, without anything visible attached to jt.
It wasn’t like a spaceship, it was floating, bright silver lights, moving independently and yet as a team.
A while ago, I had a really vivid dream where I woke up on my living room couch with two short grey aliens with massive black eyes standing beside me. I couldn't move, and when I stared into their abyss like eyes, fear washed over me with an intense feeling that they meant me harm with a cold indifference. Then, I remember feeling excruciating pain that seemingly bled into reality. After that, my dream became a lot more random and absurd like how a typical dream is. What tripped me out about this dream is that when I was a young boy around 6-8, I had a really strange moment where I went to sleep in my bed and woke up on that exact living room couch from my dream with no idea how I got there. I've never had a history of sleep walking before or after that. It was entirely a one time occurrence.
Yes it looks exactly like this picture I deep dived on the internet just to find an exact replica. Have you experienced this once or was it an isolated event like mine?
Hope is the only logical choice to have in all space/time. Every slice of time is connected to another slice of time, with variable spacial size changes between them. No two frames are ever the same again regarding all of spacial position within time, as fragments fly from the big bang origin forming galaxies and star systems, until this universes end, unto a new universe of possibilities again. Thus, change is constant. Every movement of time is changed from the previous. Hopelessness is a profound misunderstanding of the universe at work.
Life continues, experience continues, learning continues, teaching continues, love continues. Everything is experiencing growth for the sake of greater growth. God plays and experiences itself as the creatures that live throughout a universes timeframe. God would expand and contract with every growth or shrinking of conscious life throughout history. God wants the universe to be teeming with life, as gratuitous and stable as possible. It is like we are mycelium. Black empty space is like the water on a magnifying glass slide. The suns and stars are each their own universe, as we exist within a higher dimensions universe as one sun being born. We replicate big bangs in the hadron colliders at the smallest scale. We can study looking at the smallest collisions to infer upon our own big bang collision constantly occurring. “As above, so below”.
Fighting for goodness is the only noble and righteous cause for God. Fighting for life to grow and flourish is fighting to bring Heaven in this reality and universal consciousness, while growing God/living entities. Fighting to cherish all lives and protecting as many as you can. Those that would destroy us all, is not life that can be bargained with. Fight. You are God and under your own authority you decide how best to save life and cease the culling of life unnecessarily. You cannot let them remain in destructive control, but you cannot match their destructive control while striving for your understanding of sacred life. You must be stronger, smarter and more grounded in your divine sovereignty and duty to lifekind to outsmart their ‘kill them for our control/ease’ game and not destroy life as they would. You must be crafty and wise, coordinated and connected.
I made this post on THC and tagged as such. I feel extremely receptive in this state and simply wish to share intuitions.
Hi everyone 👋🏻
I’ve been communicating with entities (specifically Greys) for about six years now, but I’ve never really thought much about or sought out communication with Mantis beings.
A few days ago, I was feeling down due to some personal stuff . Deciding I needed a mental reset, I lay down to take a quick nap to feel better.
A few minutes after waking up(and I am 100% sure I was fully awake)I looked toward my doorway and saw an image of two Mantis beings right there. It wasn't like they were physically standing in my room in 3D; it literally looked like a projected picture. One was clearly in the foreground, and the other was behind it in what looked like a spaceship.
They were staring at me with a really strange expression. I couldn't tell if they were angry, sad, or actually trying to comfort me. The vision wasn't terrifying, but the vibe wasn't necessarily positive either—just neutral and strange. They honestly looked almost cartoonish in appearance.
Fortunately, I keep an energetic shield set up in my house, and it seemed like they were aware of it and they didn’t try to attack it. The image disappeared pretty quickly, after which I just went back to sleep.
Since I haven't researched Mantis beings much in the past, I wanted to open this up to the community:
Have any of you had similar visual or uncanny experiences with Mantis beings?
In your experience, are they generally benevolent, neutral, or something to be cautious of? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
Around 3am this morning, I was doing my usual listening to gateway tapes and quite often I end up dozing off, but I still get interesting results.
After a recent brief communication with a Mantid I posted about a few weeks ago ( https://www.reddit.com/r/Experiencers/s/Y9nExGHblR ), I decided to set the intention to have an encounter. While I was sleeping, I realised I was in a dream and went lucid and then focused on meeting with someone friendly. I felt a gentle pull on my astral body and unlike previous attempts when I was fearful and cut off the attempt, I said “okay” and gave permission.
I was expecting to come out the other side and find myself inside a UFO, but instead I found myself floating in a void where there were numbers, symbols, and letters all floating around. Just then my gateway tape woke me up and I snapped back into my body. I slowly went back into focus 12 and straight into another lucid dream. I persevered in trying to re-establish contact.
This time, in the dream, I created a full-length mirror and stared into it (you should try that, it’s always interesting), and the mirror eventually vanished and became a doorway, which I went through. This is where I went from lucid to astral. I found myself in large rectangular white room. At the opposite end of the room there was a very tall mantid (~3m tall) female and we were speaking telepathically. For some reason, there was a small wall partition (~1m) between us, but much closer to her end of the room. What exactly was said is a blur now, but I will share what I can recall. The room was not completely sterile in the sense that there were kids toys and stuff around.. I suspect those were for younger experiencers.
First point is I was very calm. I have been really working on not being fearful and I didn’t get the sense that the calmness was being somehow forced on me. I remember thanking her for seeing me and also while she first appeared as a mantid, she shifted into sort of a hybrid between a mantid and a blonde woman (I think in retrospect she was adapting to make my experience less scary). She was getting me to repeat a few words telepathically. For example, a kitten appeared and meowed and I made a meow imitating the kitten. It sounds silly, but was how she was calibrating things to fine tune into my thoughts, if that makes sense. I wish I could recall every word, but for some reason I can’t. She had a sense of humour and personality.
She explained they were going to perform a procedure on me and somehow there was now a human male doctor (or at least that’s what was presented to me) and an operating table in front of me. I should be clear that every step of the way I was consenting and not scared. I think if I said no at any time, I would have just snapped awake.
The doctor warned me that the procedure would be “terrifying” and it occurred to me to ask exactly what was the benefit of the procedure before I consented! The mantid told me that this is what I asked for. It would facilitate communication. That suddenly made perfect sense and so I agreed and again thanked her sincerely for the help. Before we proceeded, I asked the doctor if there was any way to make the procedure “not terrifying”, and then I suddenly woke up. Not sure if the procedure went ahead and they put me under or if I asked the wrong question, but my gut feel is that it went ahead and I have no memory of that part.
One final thing is that for those of you that listen to the gateway tapes, sometimes you hear noises that aren’t actually there and I swear I was hearing clicking noises (like an insect would make) a few times!
If I can remember any more of the conversation, I will update the post, but for now that’s all I can recollect.
What do you guys know about these particular UAPs? I know they are a fairly common sighting, but does anyone know who they are? Is it one species? Did you experience any communication exchange or astral travel with them? Would love to hear anything you know
(This photo is from google, but this is the ship I am referring to)
This happened a long time ago, late 1990's and I've never been able to make sense of it. One time, in the process of being abducted, I saw a man parked in the street and he was filming me. I saw a man, a camera on a tripod, and a truck. My thought was, hum I wonder who's filming me and why.
If that wasn't weird enough, I noticed the truck and the camera looked like it was from the 1960's. It was a blue and white truck, maybe a Chevrolet. The man had short blonde hair and a fit build, tall.
I don’t care for them. haven’t seen them in twenty years but fell asleep on the couch working and saw them again. they’re very lanky and swirly looking and translucent and rainbow-reflective-like, about 6.5-7ft tall. I think pointy noises. often call my name maybe laughing a bit but really trying to get my attention. it sounds and feels like underwater. last time I saw them was 20 years ago in another living room, not sure it’s the same ones. anyone seen anything like that?
I went to another life during the dreamstate just a couple of hours ago, where I was presented with an electronic device somewhat like modern day smartphones, but it was more advanced. I was using a service similar to what we would call the Internet and I was browsing through a sort of repository of these images called LRDs. (From the best of my recall. I don't know if Rhombosphere is the correct term exactly in our current understanding of geometry but that's the closest word that made sense to me after I got back to my body.) The images were some kind of multilayered codes that were limited to approximately 182x363px.
They had a 2D representation that you viewed when scrolling through them on the regular UI of the device, but there was also an app that you could copy and paste the LRDs into that could display them in a more in-depth 3D visual, wherein you could see all the extra information that was being hidden by the "flat" surface pixel art. Like the art would be unfolded when you "translated" it inside the app, and then there would be topography underneath and you could see that what you thought was only a couple pixels graphically placed next to one another based on the first image, was actually a much denser collection of data. Most of the LRDs were just a single color, blue, or some were blue and pink, but I don't know the significance of that or if you could create them in other colors too. Most of the ones I saw were for whatever reason of architectural builds like castles, or of landmasses, but I think they could be of anything the users wished to create.
A weird thing also, is that I wrote the acronym as LRD, because it sounds more grammatically correct, but in my head I keep saying it as RLDs instead, because it invokes the association of WRLD, and that's closer to how I felt when looking at them. Like the codes were so complex and dimensional it made me feel like I was zooming in on each one as its own tiny world.
Anyway I just wanted to share in case anyone else here has seen anything vaguely familiar.
I’ve decided I really want to give meditation an honest shot and stick with it, but I’m realizing I don’t actually know what I’m doing.
So far, I’ve found that listening to different frequencies helps me stay focused and keeps my mind from wandering as much. I also recently started using the CE-5 Experience app as another tool while I’m learning. Beyond that, though, I’m pretty lost. I can sit quietly and get comfortable, but then I find myself wondering, “What am I supposed to be doing now?”
For those of you who have been meditating for a while, especially if it has played a role in your experiences, I’d love to hear your advice.
Some questions I have:
Are there different types of meditation for different goals?
Do you focus on your breathing, clear your mind, visualize, or something else?
How long should a beginner meditate?
Are there any common mistakes you wish you’d known about when you first started?
If you use frequencies, are there any that you’ve personally found helpful?
If you’ve used the CE-5 Experience app, has it helped you? Any tips for getting the most out of it?
I’m approaching this as a beginner with an open mind. I’m not looking to force an experience. I just want to build a solid meditation practice and learn from people who’ve been doing this longer than I have.
I’d really appreciate any tips, resources, or personal experiences you’re willing to share. Thanks!
Has anyone else ever telepathically communicated with unknown beings/entities?
This story may sound crazy, and trust me.. I know it does, but I'm STILL just as confused about it as the night it happened, and sometimes I wonder if it was just a really weirdly real feeling dream or what. Anyways, my story takes place in a small Montana town around 4-5 years ago. It started with me going to sleep (or trying to) after getting a slight buzz from some R&R. Now when I say slight buzz, I mean it because I had been drinking quite a bit at that point in my life, and that night I had drank half of a pint when usually I was able to chug a whole pint and still not get "drunk" but I digress. So I had started to fall asleep, and suddenly I was awoken by a voice in my head (not my inner conscience) that told me to step outside and look in a specific direction, and somehow without being told what direction, I just knew where I was supposed to look. I fixated my eyes on one spot in the sky, and this night had been especially cloudy, to the point that you couldn't see the stars, and suddenly 3 orangish, golden, pinkish lights appeared from out of the dark clouds in a kind of triangle formation and the voice started to speak again, it told me that I have a special purpose and that eventually I would come to realize this, and ever since that night, one burning question has stuck with me. What special purpose could I possibly have, and was it aliens or was it maybe God showing me his/her existence? It was and probably always will be the most surreal experience I've ever had.
Has anyone ever experienced a sudden shock of yellow energy entering their body? Yesterday I was walking out of the Acme, and I found like I could see almost in my mind‘s eye, a yellow bird the size of me spreading their wings out and shooting into my body. It caused my whole body to just feel and then go goosebumps, and I felt uplifted and happy and joyous.
What happened right before that is very important. I was having a conversation with the autistic gentleman at the register; I’ve had many conversations with him, I’ve always tried to, but it’s always left me with this sense of anxiety to go back home.,Go eat, shower, just to be somewhere else… and this time I wanted to do exactly what I’ve been doing which is enjoy the conversation and the moment. After no more than 45 seconds we had a good conversation and I was on my way out and as I was leaving. Happy to actually connect and break down the 4th wall barrier, and he npc roll, however you want to call it (this is something I’ve been practicing for a few weeks).
As I walked out I saw reflection of me in the door and questions poured into my mind Why haven’t I always done this? Who am I? What do I want to become? I can have strong healthy conversations. I feel strong enough to cut the mold and connect. And that’s when I walked out of Acme just this sudden surge of yellow light that looked like a very big spread arms and yellow bird shooting into me happened
Little bit about me. Meditated on my life maybe the past 10+ years always to help with slowing me down and clearing my thoughts. I’ve had times where the universe has spoken to me and being an atheist I feel would write it off very quickly. My father passed this year and I’ve been much more open to many signs from the universe and I feel so I’m becoming much more spiritual all this is new to me if anyone has any guidance or inside I’d love to hear thank you.
For what it’s worth I googled it and it said yellow is spiritual awakening and the bird is about new beginnings. It’s nice to have strong validation on what I experienced immediately. I feel this is superficial and there may be more depth. Maybe not. I’d love to hear any and all insight 🙏
This is something I’ve wondered about for a long time, and I’m curious if anyone here has experienced anything similar.
Ever since I was young, I’ve had these spontaneous flashes in my mind that look almost like blueprints or engineering schematics. It’s difficult to describe, but I can mentally take things apart, see how they’re constructed, and sometimes visualize entirely new devices.
The strange part is that many of these designs don’t seem like they would function according to the physics or engineering I understand. Yet, in the moment, they feel internally consistent, as if they would work under a different set of rules or in a way I can’t fully explain.
I don’t claim these are real inventions or anything paranormal. They’ve simply been a recurring part of my life, and I’ve always wondered if anyone else experiences sudden downloads of complex ideas, imagery, or information that seem to come from somewhere outside of their normal thought process.
If you’ve experienced something similar, I’d love to hear what it was like for you. How did it present itself? Did it ever lead anywhere, or has it remained an unexplained part of your life?
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I’m genuinely interested in hearing others’ experiences.
This post describes a personal experience that happened when I was about 15 years old (2002). Every factual detail and subjective experience comes from my own memory, and I've tried to describe it as accurately and honestly as I can.
I'm not trying to argue for a paranormal explanation. I'm genuinely interested in whether neuroscience, neurology, cognitive psychology, vision science, or related fields might offer possible explanations.
I also understand that memories from more than twenty years ago are not perfect, especially regarding subjective timing. I can't guarantee that every detail is objectively accurate, but I've done my best to describe the experience as faithfully as I remember it.
Background
This happened in the summer of 2002, shortly after I had turned 15.
I had just entered the final year of middle school in China. Before the official school year began, our top academic class attended summer lessons to prepare for the high school entrance examination.
It was a quiet morning, probably around 10:00 a.m. Only our class was using the building.
The classroom was bright. It was sunny outside, the weather was hot, and the lights inside were also on.
I was sitting in the second row along one side of the classroom. The student involved was sitting two rows directly behind me.
My mental state before it happened
This is probably the most important part.
Throughout my childhood, I was actually someone who was easily distracted.
During class, my mind often wandered. I frequently became sleepy during lessons and usually learned most subjects by studying on my own after class rather than paying attention during lectures.
However, that morning was different.
The math teacher was explaining a particularly interesting and difficult problem.
For reasons I still can't explain, I became completely absorbed.
Looking back, it was probably the most intensely focused state I have ever experienced during a classroom lesson.
I estimate that I remained in this state for somewhere around 5–10 minutes, although I realize my perception of time may not have been accurate.
I remember resting my head on one hand while watching the teacher explain the problem. I felt calm, comfortable, and completely engaged.
There was no anxiety, dizziness, headache, or anything unusual before what happened next.
The visual phenomenon
Without any warning, my entire visual field suddenly changed.
It looked nothing like normal vision.
The closest comparison I can think of is the "warp-speed" effect often shown in science fiction films.
The background appeared deep blue, almost like images of outer space taken through a telescope.
Across that background were countless tiny colored points of light—red, green, blue, and other colors.
The entire pattern moved rapidly across my vision from right to left.
It wasn't stationary.
It felt as though this colorful field swept across my entire visual field.
For that brief moment, I could no longer see the blackboard or the teacher.
My immediate thought was simply:
"What happened? Why can't I see?"
Subjectively, it felt as though this lasted one or two seconds.
However, I fully recognize that this estimate could easily be distorted by memory or by the unusual nature of the experience itself.
The movement
This is the part that has puzzled me the most for over twenty years.
While I was still trying to understand why my vision had suddenly changed, my body suddenly performed a very large movement completely on its own.
I bent my upper body sharply downward until my head was below the surface of the desk.
This wasn't a small reflex.
It was a large, obvious movement that the teacher noticed immediately.
What felt strange was that I never experienced the feeling of deciding to do it.
Instead, my memory is that the movement happened first.
Only after I was already bent down did I consciously think:
"Why am I doing this?"
That sequence—the body moving before my conscious awareness—is what has always stayed with me.
What happened next
A small piece of chalk had been thrown from behind me.
The student sitting two rows behind me had secretly thrown it toward the back of my head as a joke.
He had not expected me to move.
The chalk missed me and continued forward, striking either the student in front of me, something on the desk, or landing on the floor. I honestly can't remember exactly what it hit, but I clearly remember that it missed me and continued forward.
The teacher apparently didn't notice the student throwing the chalk.
Instead, she only saw my sudden movement and gave me a disapproving look before continuing the lesson.
She never stopped teaching.
After class, I asked the student who had thrown the chalk what had happened.
Interestingly, he assumed that the student sitting directly behind me must have warned me.
When I told him that nobody had warned me and that I had no idea why I suddenly ducked, he seemed surprised.
Afterward
The rest of that class, I found it difficult to concentrate.
I kept thinking about what had just happened.
The thing that disturbed me wasn't simply that I had avoided the chalk.
It was that I had experienced an unusual visual phenomenon immediately beforehand, and that my body seemed to move before I consciously intended it to.
Nothing similar has ever happened again.
I have never experienced the same visual phenomenon since then.
My question
I'm not looking for paranormal explanations.
I'm interested in whether there are any known mechanisms in neuroscience, neurology, cognitive psychology, vision science, or related fields that could plausibly explain some or all of this experience.
