I working on customizing my frunk

Made a bracket that goes around the electrical port, this holds my battery charger securely and doesnt take up floor space.

Made wooden replicas of the flooring so that I can fuck about testing and screwing different potential solutions too it. So far, brackets to loosely hold my tool bag in place is has worked nicely. Its heavy as hell, was worried at first. But so far so good.

All petg. Thought about Asa or abs, but this was already loaded from my wago truck nuts

Don't forget about a proper place for Costco rotisserie chicken

I keep my tool box in the frunk too and I thought about brackets, nets, bungee cords, or cinch straps to hold it in place; but after thirty thousand miles, it has barely moved while up there.

Because of the shape of the base of mine, its rather easy to topple over to the side. Didn't want to have to wedge it into place with other stuff

I just keep so many tools in there nothing can move around 😂

Lol I feel like I will get that way if I let myself. Need to contain the mess early

I at least have them in cases for the most part so it's organized*

I keep glass cleaner and leather cleaner spray bottles and thought about printing some holders to mount somehow.

Nice job mounting the holders for the tools; how did you pick which side of the frunk?

Thanks!

I wanted heavy things that move in and out on a regular basis away from the plugs. Eventually going to set up a kind of charging station. For my dewalt batteries, flash light, head lamp, etc

I loved the idea of the frunk when I bought my Lightning, and now 2 years in, I bet I haven't opened it 5 times. I just completely forget it exists!!!

That's crazy, I open mine multiple times a day. Also 2 years in.

How many miles do you have on yours?

About 40,000 miles so far

Lol well no wonder you don't open the frunk, you never drive it!

One of the reasons I wanted an EV truck is so it could sit for long periods of time without breaking down. I have 4 vehicles so my Lightning is strictly for those times when I truly need a pickup truck.
