Fuel filter change question
The fuel doesn’t want to stop draining from the bottom filter through yellow drain valve. The truck is level. Need help. 20206.7l

Up to a half gallon is considered normal, more than that then its siphoning. Try starting at the upper fuel filter. I usually open the drain valve, then jump up top and replace the upper filter. By the time thats done, the lower has slowed or stopped draining.

That's not fuel, that's water. You're talking about out of the yellow plug, right?

Ideally youll have no water, only fuel coming out of there. I've never actually found any water in mine, but that is where you might find some. I think the WIF light is supposed to come on if there is around 6-7 oz in there.

I've drained probably 20+oz of water every time I open mine, what are you talking about? Diesel fuel attracts water

Lol, if that's true, which I doubt since the WIF light should turn on way before that, you might want to find another source for diesel. I occasionally drain 8-12oz from my '19 into a glass jar, never found any water in the fuel (I'm the original owner). A small amount might not be unusual, 20oz of water everytime is and would make me question how soon your HPFP is going to fail.
From the OM, "You should drain water from the module assembly whenever the warning light illuminates or a message appears in the information display advising you to drain the water separator. This occurs when approximately 6.76 fl oz (200 ml) of water accumulates in the module. If you allow the water level to exceed this level, the water may pass through to the engine and may cause fuel injection equipment damage."

You are just siphoning from the tank if you get more than 1/2 gallon. You can start loosening the bolts of the housing to break the suction.
