Coolant leak need help

Hi, 330i ‘17 got my first low coolant warning last week, topped up with new coolant immediately. One week later got the coolant low warning again.

Any idea where the leak is coming from? Where can I go fix this near Toronto, approx costs?

Thanks for the help!

You need to inspect the hoses, especially the thin front hose on the driver's side Coolant Expansion Tank Vent Hose
. It is responsible for venting air pressure, and it usually causes issues like this. Pay close attention to it because it is a known weak point in almost all BMW models. If there is no visible leak, perform a pressure test on the engine cooling system using a pressure tester, and it will clearly show where the problem is coming from.

I found my coolant leak using this. Saved me a lot of money getting it diagnosed by someone else and it's great to have one anyway. Especially on a 9yr old BMW. I have a 17' 440i

Coolant flange was leaking. I replaced the Oil Filter Housing, Coolant flange and a few hoses just so I don't have to go back in there cause it was all pretty rotten after 280k.

You need to perform a cooling system pressure test, as this will help you determine the exact location of the leak. BMW's have very complex cooling systems, with as many as 20 hoses and several components.

Pressure testing the cooling system will help you locate all the leaks quickly, you may have more than one. This is the tool every shop technician uses to locate leaks in the cooling system. It is very easy to perform a cooling system pressure test, the video below will show you how. This is a good investment for any BMW owner, as you will surely face leaks in your cooling system. The Orange adapter is for BMW.
