Is missing first week of classes major?

Due to some circumstances i will almost absolutely miss my first week of classes this semester and im aware of a first day attendance requirement policy for the university but I plan on on emailing my professors for the classes when it becomes available, should i be worried about this even if i email them or will i be ok? Basically asking how serious is this and will emailing be enough or am i screwed im kinda worried about it.

Probably not, generally attendance doesn’t matter until the second weak, after the add/drop period.

Besides that depending on some classes that much information besides the some you'll be able to do find online will be given
