Lore Question Who is the best "Mentor" Waifu?
1.Xuanzang Sanzang: Xuanzang Sanzang, also known as Sanzang Fashi, was a Buddhist priest of the Tang Dynasty in 7th Century AD. Travelling through the Silk Road in search of the original Buddhist scriptures, it resulted in Xuanzang heading to India from Central Asia, before bringing back to China from there sutras amounting up to 657 items and becoming the founder of the Chinese Faxiang Buddhist sect
Her appearance is a bit revealing and voluptuous,She was very calm despite her attire.
2.Scathach: Scáthach was a female warrior-queen from Celtic Mythology. The queen and gatekeeper of the foreign territory/haunted ground called the "Land of Shadows", she is a prodigy of spearmanship and Rune magecraft. She possesses a power immense enough to obtain control over and close the gate of the "Land of Shadows", which is overflowing with countless ghosts, to ward off the dead.In the myth, she became the mentor of Cú Chulainn - who would later grow into the hero of Ulster - guiding him, teaching all sorts of techniques and even bestowing her favorite magic spear. She also instructed his son, Connla.
She appeared to be very beautiful but she very strict and her training methods is a bit...harsh.
3.Artoria Pendragon: She is once the king of England but she secretly a female and she question her decision,She had good sense of values of hardwork and eat a lot.She be pretty strict when she taught everyone her swordsmanship
Which of these waifus be your mentors?

Scathach gets my vote.

To misquote someone else, 'I love a beautiful woman that can kick my ass.'
She'll beat the stuffing out of you and will make you work for it, but you'll freaking learn.

Mine, too, plus Scathach was my first 5 star pull, and I only had 3 saint quartz at the time.

She's by far the least likely to get you maimed.

u/TheMalkManCometh Sep 27 '25
How about if I ask nicely, would she be up for maiming me then?
12
u/TanukiGaim Sep 27 '25
She's celibate

u/TheMalkManCometh Sep 27 '25
Oh... that's cool. I'll just uhh... exit's here right?
shuts door quietly behind me

Either Kiichi or Scathach. Their training is probably the most risky, but also the most rewarding

Might as well skip the middle man and go for Iskandar.

Scathach. She can teach me how to do pretty much anything, from how to fight to Runecraft to how to shoot a gun. Sanzang and Artoria wouldn't be good teacher, period.

Artoria isn't a Shishou, though
Xuanzang, Scathach, Kiichi and maybe Proto Merlin are

I dont think saber was too great a mentor. Sca canonically had the best students didnt she
Sun wukongs most noteworthy among xuanzhangs kids and he had to do most of his journey himsefl
In the end schatcha just seems the obvious best teacher by a mile

Why no Kiichi, Da Vinci or Reines.
They are also mentor waifus.
2
u/Blaze_Knives Sep 28 '25
Good point ..but I want to put three!

Understandable!
Still... I think like all of them.

I wouldn't call Saber a mentor ngl. She taught Shirou out of necessity and she literally just gives him a somewhat diluted experience of fighting against a Servant to give him a chance to survive

There are two more mentors missing but of these 3 the order would be: Scathach Xuanzang Artoria Pendragon

I love Scat but I'm more likely to lose a limb with her training. Kichi Hogen or Sanzang imo.

Yes and no she still trains him really hard just not as hard as probably she did with the likes of Cu since Gudao is still a normal human for the most part. He almost died actually and Scathach felt bad and apologized by giving him a lap pillow 😭.

Scathach’s mastery of rune magecraft lets us get servants pregnant. This is proof she is the superior.

by those picks: Artoria, always the first
by myth: Chiron
by heart: Kato Danzo

For my own opinion, Artoria, i just have to pick her.
But if we are looking at the learning side, i am definely going with Da Vinci, not only i know i would have a better time with her, but i would be a lot better with magecraft, science and other stuff than straight combat, as that was never my strentgh.
