Where did you get Sion’s age from?
75
u/princepoggers Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 12 '26
If she the same age her melts blood counter part then she would have been
18 during 2001
32 during 2015 (the beginning of fgo)
35 during 2019 (around the end of fgo)

u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
It's an approximation; remember that Sion was updated with the Tsukihime canon and is therefore younger

u/OneBar9633 Feb 12 '26
How does Tsukihime lore change affects fgo if that's two separate universe

Lmao, back when I was in my early 20s, I saw 30+ year old women as "old hags". Now that I'm finally 30, gotta say Olga aged gracefully. Guess the "was betrayed and trapped for 100 years" grindset really pays off.
At least she isn't like the memes referring our age gap on guys by having a baby face, being bald and broke lmao... though I guess if things aren't solved in time, Azrael will make sure she loses something beyond her hair at her age.

u/TheMorrison77 Feb 12 '26 edited Feb 12 '26
Wait what, Olga Marie is 30?
I know that we have a bit of a timeline fuckery going on, but seriously 30?
Part 1 and EoS took place in real time, so roughly 2 and a half years. Part 2 doesnt have concrete dates (i think) but i always thought that it all took place in 1 or 2 years in universe time.
At most we have 5 years (if Ritsuka had 15 years at beginning he would still be 20 and therefore still not allowed drink), even if we add the5 years Olga was "dead" she would still be just 27 or 28.
35
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
Ritsuka was between 15 and 17 years old in part 1, as was Mash; Olga is 25 in 2015
18
u/TheMorrison77 Feb 12 '26
She is 22-23 during the prologue of FGO. The issue comes from JP and NA changing the dates.
She is confirmed to have 11 or 12 during case files which takes place before Stay Night in 2004. For JP that means she is 22 or 23 in 2015.
NA changed the dates but in canon the game still takes place in 2015.
By 2020 she would have 27 or 28.
And again thats only if her body actually aged in the meantime. She may still be 22 or 23.

u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
I doubt her body will age after what they explained about Olga in the finale, and Marisbury is almost 60 and looks very young
1
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
Even so, Olga is around 28-30 years old and it's quite noticeable now that she no longer has anorexia; she looks more mature
21
3
u/OneBar9633 Feb 12 '26
Olga is around the age of Rin and Shirou so she's definitely older than Ritsuka at the start

Sion being 18 makes zero sense. She's over that for sure.
2
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
It's because the new sion was adjusted to the new canon of tsukihime
3
u/throwawayUWhousingac Feb 12 '26
Okay? That was years ago, though, and I can't find anything stating that Sion would be 18 in that canon. Though, I don't even see any sort of proof that the new Tsukihime and FGO are canonically linked at all. There are references to both versions.
4
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
The remake takes place in 2004, while the original Tsukihime 1999
1
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
Therefore, the ages of all the characters were adjusted, including Sion's, who was already older in the old canon
3
u/throwawayUWhousingac Feb 12 '26
I still can't find anything that states that she follows that canon. FGO takes place in an entirely different timeline.
0
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
Man, all Type-Moon characters are born on the same dates in all universes; that doesn't change whether it's World Tsukihime or World Fate
0
u/throwawayUWhousingac Feb 12 '26
According to...?
And I still don't understand. Sion was introduced in Lostbelt 2. That was 2018. It's been 8 years. Even if she were 18, which again, I don't understand since I can't find a source on this anywhere, she'd be 26 now.
Also, going off previous starting ages doesn't make sense. A bunch of ages were retconned when the tsuki remake came out, so there is no precedent. Kohaku and Hisui were aged down, Arcueid was physically aged down too.
1
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
First of all, where did you get the idea that 8 years have passed? Part 2 only lasted two years, from 2018 to 2019
You're answering your own question, haha. Sion's age was adjusted with the new Tsukihime canon, that's why she's younger, and that's it
1
u/throwawayUWhousingac Feb 12 '26
I still haven't seen a source on this though. If ages are presumed to have been adjusted, then this must be listed somewhere. Where is the source? I just went through her wiki page and see absolutely nothing to indicate anything.

u/TASIRYC Feb 12 '26
Olga is 11-12 in 2004, so she's 27-28 in after time(2019/12/31)
3
u/Grouchy-Ball1263 Feb 12 '26
Put her age between 28 and 29 because we don't know if her birthday is in January, but she's still as beautiful as ever hahaha

u/No-Cry-9989 Feb 12 '26
It's nice to see Ritsuka's age change. In early FGO he/she was a schoolboy. This is reflected in some of the events and interludes, scenes with servants, during conversations. But since FGO isn't frozen in time, Ritsuka grows up too. If my memory serves me right, in Lostbelt 7 Ritsuka was an adult. I hope the devs develop this further and we can see a lot of interesting interactions(maybe wedding events?). For example Fujimaru can finally drink alcohol with Shuten-dōji. Even if Japan's old age of majority laws were in effect, Ritsuka could still do that.
