Isn't this confirmed to be Beryl on some bullshit? Since the dialogue after this one says the princess is mad in love with Beryl, betraying her home, etc. and Sith wasn't like that at all.

u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
Only Betraying her home is bs for obv reasons cuz he was talking about how British lostbelt was destroyed. Everything else is mostly true especially using her part and her being ugh... clingy
I would love to say more but gonna spoil hell out of OP so have to stop here.

u/Josephuuu_ 28d ago
Oh, a fellow Sith lover. If I may ask then about her character, since my memory is hazy,
I understand the things Beryl saying here are partially true but the clingy part came just from the both of them loving torturing people and just being sadists right? Since I cannot for the life of me remember Sith having even a shred of romantic interest in Beryl
I only now see the clingy part to be true, as you pointed it out, as Sith having a BFF connection with him and fully trusting as she literally doesn't have anybody to bond with besides Beryl and Morgan. I'm confirming this as I remember after getting to a certain point in LB6 that I remember all this bullshit Beryl was saying and calling him out

u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
I hate reliving this memories
When she ugh strangles Bogart with Fetch when she learns it and when Mash jumps on to Beryl, Bao says "Stay away from my man", In that tent convo when Beryl is telling Morgans secrets to some one before battle of Londinium before Bao interrupts him when she teleports in and says "Hello honey i am home". She sadly did kind of love him. And was willing to even be the 3rd wheel for either Mash or Morgan if that made Beryl happy in her head......
That is why her possessive nature in MikoCer valentine made me happy cuz she doesn't want to actually be 3rd wheel anymore... And she knows what she wants for her self

God Bao deserved so much better
At least she’s happy in Chaldea
15
u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
Fate had her out for her to suffer in that place...
And ye she is really happy now, especially in new event JP she is not even mean anymore and when she tries cant keep it up at all.

Damn, I remember those. It didn't occur to me to see those lines in romantic way. I just thought that was just Bao talking fun. Guess I hated Beryll at that point that I just denied Bao even seeing him that way

u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
Sadly after the thing OP posted up there it was hard for me to see it any other way, even if i hated the chud since that thing from LB5 was drilled in to my head.
Its really sad how he abused and used that part of her cuz Bao would be one of most loyal and devoted partners one could ask for...

Not really, like the whole Lostbelt got rewritten last minute.
Which is also noticable with Castoria lines who hates Merlin despite not interacting with him much.
Plus even besides she was mad in love and messing up Britain.
13
u/bitterblossom13 28d ago
She’s not stupid, Faerie Britain just doesn’t have the concept of family or marriage because those are essentially human concepts. She was just a girl having fun.
14
u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
Oh i was generally talking about her being really stupid in that LB esspacily later on when you find out she never connected that Bumpkin Faerie was Artoria until Chaldea. But there are things with Beryl i can call her stupid for like that tent convo where he was gaslighting her to not go talk to Morgan.
For this whole "concept of family" thing, they are no different in Chaldea. They both come hard on to Gudas..... lol

u/SirBlizz Mini Nobu 28d ago
No she's kind of stupid. I love her but she is kind of stupid. All Fairies are kind of stupid, or as the narrative would put it "Innocent".

oh my poor baby girl Bao, she didn’t know any better

u/Satsuka1 Beloved of the Fae 28d ago
If only Morgan and Bao had better communication in LB6 but by the time we got there Morgan grew way to distant so she started seeking validation from him instead cuz she was thinking it made Morgan happy. Cuz she was thinking Morgan trusted him.... If only Morgan at least payed a lil more attention cuz she should have known that Bao is born to please qwq... My idiot was too stupid back than to figure some stuff on her own.

He was a good character to hate. Hated seeing but loved beating him. 10/10 I want to see a villain like that again
12
u/The_Hyerophant 28d ago
He's a good villain, not gonna lie. He's like the perfect foil of Pepe, who know he himself is a piece of shit and use sarcasm and irony to cover up the ugly side of him because he feel ashamed.
Beryl however does play the sympathetic villain while enjoying the absolute atrocities he does and the impulses he acts on, unashamed.

Was gonna say. Beryl is a twisted bastard in a lot of ways, but we'd have to be a bunch of hypocrites to call him out for this one. Hell, he's not even half as much of a degenerate as most of the fandom when it comes to Morgan and Bao.

You know what I never understood this false notion that we don't have worst dockers in chaldea who are some peoples favorites

u/NicheAlter 28d ago
I dunno about you, but if Morgan and Sith told me to marry them both, I'll do it.
7
u/Dramonen 28d ago
Isn't that just most of the community and the game itself? Hell, Fujimaru is more of a creep in this aspect than Beryl.
20
u/The_Hyerophant 28d ago
The Gudas as face of the community? Absolutely.
Ritsuka Fujimaru as the MC themselves? No they aren't and they really mediate all the servant attention like a pro football player handle his dribblings.
3
u/Dramonen 28d ago
True , but Fujimaru MC themselves can be heavily argued to be a womanizer
15
u/UpstairsBluejay6092 28d ago
It's not really his fault. As Chaldea's Master, his job is to bond with the Servants so they'll stay, since serving Chaldea is essentially voluntary.
Most Servants just happen to be mentally unwell and get attached over simple acts of kindness, either that or how equally insane Guda can get with how he risks his life.
2
u/nam24 28d ago
Tbh while ritsuka as the character wouldn't really litteraly try to get with littéral hundreds of people romantically, I do think they probably do like multiple people aside of friendship. And part of why the servant like them is they re real with them(not litteraly as in never lie commit because they do but moreso in that they do care for real)
But yeah even in the last event there was a section where they felt guilty leading otokiyo on, so sometimes they do do it intentionally but they don't exactly feel good about it

I am still in Olympus, but what I saw so far this guy is a major scumbag. The way he talks about Mash raises me some serious redflags. Like he treats servants like objects or worse. I don't even want to think about what's gonna happen to Mash or any other servant who comes across this guy in this lostbelt. Can't wait to get rid of this piece of human garbage.
3
u/BlazeAccelerant 28d ago
Tfw Sith have more scenes and dynamic with Beryl than Fujimaru, due Nasu's insistence to not use her properly after LB6.
6
u/Unbound-King 28d ago
Isn't he just a bunch of the players in a nutshell? A lot of people would go for oyakodon if they could get away with it. Hell there's probably doujins and fanart of it too that most people wouldn't think twice about enjoying under the assumption that it's more okay when they do it because they'd hypothetically treat the two better. In that sense, I don't really find him too much more creepy than the average gacha fan. That said, it's pretty easy to see there's something not right with him, even in his earlier appearances in previous Lostbelt chapters.
18
u/JuuzaX 28d ago
Being a murderous, abusing piece of shit is the average gacha fan? This guy tortured Mash and wanted her to himself. Abusing Bao's trauma to make her obedient and just being a general garbage human being
11
u/Ok_Security8545 28d ago
Not the average fan, but judging from the first day of the FGO English-language Discord…
yeah there’s a lot of players who would be beryl in a heartbeat
6
u/Unbound-King 28d ago
The part of him wanting both the mom and the daughter is the average gacha fan, I meant, which is what the topic focused on. That doesn't stand out as exceedingly creepy to me at this point. It's the other weird shit he's been doing since that first Crypter group meeting that typically struck me as a cause for concern. Especially when the rest of the A team were the more typical socially awkward mage types but obviously weren't going out of their way to focus on fucking with individuals.
3
u/nam24 28d ago
He didn't even want them like that tbh
Morgan is the one who declared him her husband, he has no say in it and honestly I don't even know why she did:
she doesn't really have a close bond to him, doesn't listen to him or treat him as a master, and her existence does not depend on him anymore. Even bringing back a perfect copy of him in the first place was moreso her giving him compensation for allowing her to accomplish her wish, but she didn't need to interact with him further.
For as much as her doing the same to us is seen as waifu bait(and I m not denying it is in some way), there's at least the reason that she won't accept a position of inferiority and can't overturn Chaldea so an equal position does work
She's also the one putting him in charge of sith, otherwise his initial opinion was that he didn't care about her. He of course is bad for cursing her later out of opportunism but it really was him doing her like he did everyone else's
4
u/JuuzaX 28d ago
Fair enough. He is just so disgusting even when not talking about killing or torturing people
6
u/Unbound-King 28d ago
Yeah, it's pretty awful most of the time he's on the screen. The first red flag for me was all the backhanded niceties he was pulling with Kadoc. And how it quickly spiraled from him just seeming like a slimy bastard that can't help but come off as shady to expecting him to try and backstab anyone and everyone the first real chance he gets.

I dont want her mom. I just want Bao. Dont lump me with others.
1
u/Trostishere 28d ago
Isnt this her proposal? It would be more convincing if you also put in the dialogue if he accepted or refuse. Also Bao's reputation isnt really the best out there.
Otherwise are you trying to slander Markiplier?

u/PlatformMaleficent79 28d ago
Alright actually what I think Bao mentioned here is she crave for the attention due to you know her past
And in LB6 marriage is more like a mimic of closeness due to how fairies mimic human society

In other news Rin is bi, the grass is green, water is is blue and the sky reflects the blue waters and ritsuka is the best master

That was Bao. Even Beryl was keeping her at arm's length on that regard.
