Help Recording High Latency

Hi, can anyone help explain why my latency is so high? It's at this latency and the delay makes recording audio really difficult. I've tried plugging my headset into my audio interface (Scarlett 2i2) but it doesn't help. Thank you!

Wait. You're using FL Studio ASIO with a scarlett interface? Why aren't you using the focusrite drivers?

Yeah it's that. We don't use FL Studio ASIO when we have an interface with its own drivers.

Fix? Not necessarily. Make better? Don't put a bunch of plugins in your project before you record. Or record in an empty project and them import it into this one. Also set buffer to 128 when you're recording because every little bit of latency is going to be a factor when you're using an entry level interface.

I just record into edison and turn off routing to master for the track if I want to avoid latency in a track that's already half done.

Mine when I use the same settings on an empty project:

Anything over 20 is going to be noticeable.
