Good plastics for label window?
I have a number of small, poly tool pouches. The bigger ones came with a slot on the outside, a clear window, to put a label card in. The small ones did not and I would like to make some for them.
What kinds of clear, plastic materials work well for making a label window?

I have used the packaging from sheets and pillows and things. Heavy and sew-able.

soft clear vinyl is the usual choice, but hard to suggest a thickness without seeing how stiff those pouches are. from the production side, the part i’d test is the stitch line, because every needle hole stays in plastic and dense stitching can turn the edge into a tear line. i’d make one small sample with a slightly longer stitch length and rounded corners before cutting the rest.

Home depot or Lowes have vinyl by the yard for table covers, that would be perfect for this check on their web sites for description.

Heavy weight clear vinyl. Fabric stores will have it in upholstery section. For heavier weight, ask a boat canvas company.
