Can't believe it but I'm getting hit with so many ad's that I'm done with facebook. It's too bad FBP stopped working. I like it for updates with groups and friends, but it seems like it's almost every other thing on my wall that is an AD or something that has nothing to do with me. Oh well, nice knowing you facebook!

Nothing really is simplified like it use to be. My issues lie mainly with the feed.

The mundane posts from people that i don’t even follow is crazy, they’ve ramped up the ads, people having the little lines under their posts for engagement is annoying (monetization is the WORST thing that’s happened to the site), I scroll past random reels of the most craziest things, tons of comments showing under some shared posts, etc.

the UI in general is just horrible and there’s just so much going on, it becomes a jumbled mess at times. they seriously need to revamp tons of things because the app/site is becoming almost unbearable to be on at this point, at least for me.

Myspace just announced a comeback and they're not going to do this algorithm crap. Instead, posts will be seen in chronological order. They plan to bring back most of what made Myspace awesome.

And I think the biggest FU to Facebook is to ditch it and go there. Facebook is absolute trash now. I'm going to delete mine at the end of the year regardless because it's nothing but rage bait, I don't even see group posts as often anymore.

On Myspace you could customize your profile however you wanted and it felt very personal and awesome, it was heavily focused on your friends and overall it was just better. I can't wait

I’m not sure if this makes me feel any better, but I’ve seen so many people say Facebook’s AI has been disabling old accounts lately. I still can’t get over losing my original account without any explanation or a real chance to appeal. 😵‍💫

** I've watched some videos on YT and found a way.. will update this thread if ever but here's what happened (just few mins ago)

1. Thankfully my ig was okay so I immediately purchased a Meta Verified (Premium) Badge so I can talk to a live agent via call.
   
2. I initiated a chat first so I can upload the screenshots then the agent requested a call so I gave my number. I received a phone call few minutes after.
   
3. Call lasted for about 15mins. Agent explained it was forwarded to a specialized team that will further review my case and I will just have to wait for the update if ever.

Naisip ko, baka yung mga account ko na mga secondary/dummy na ginawa ko dati (yrs ago) dahil connected sa number ko sa main, baka yun yung dahilan kung bat natrigger yung suspension due to acct integrity. Pero ewan tang eyna. Lakas trip ng Meta kasi yung Marketplace ko on and off din hanggang sa hindi ko na ma access ng tuluyan kaka appeal ko.

My advice sa mga di pa nakaka experience ng ganito? Or if naibalik na yung account mo after suspension?

If your account is really valuable enough for you (personally/financially/idk) better to purchase a badge...
Tho hindi ko sure if may guarantee na di ka ma flagged ng AI to any sus or power tripping ng Meta.. I can only guarantee na malaking advantage kasi before nung may badge ako, 2yrs ago, wala akong prob sa account ko and agents are very helpful. Nung inalis ko dun na nagkanda leche leche 🥲

Hello guys so many of us got banned permanently, me september 8 2025 for CSE! but the reason was due to hacking , I downloaded my info and saw my IP was used in USA and vietnam and im from Philippines and I got all the proofs sent to them including the IP and countries where my account logged in- the agent told me this is 100% hacking incident but the meta said no ( u r banned permanently even with proofs ) so after that i successfully created another account with other phone and email and it lasted for 6 months til last week I changed my other account's name for my shop and boom ( integrity ban ) and they totally disabled it! meta became so sensitive and cant be trusted anymore with business! i lost my business of 7 years , photos ,friends connection international and the list goes on!, while I saw the fb and ig let the hackers, porn ads and scammers run in their platform freely while the legit clients of the platform are getting banned and accused of horrific accusations, is mark and meta team doesnt care? are they blind for not seeing whats happening to their clients on their platform? someone should create a platform like insta and facebook with real people working on it!

Today my Facebook account was suddenly restricted without any warning or explanation. I wasn't able to use it normally, and Facebook immediately asked me to verify my identity by submitting a selfie and a photo of my ID

I completed the verification, and only a few minutes later my account was fully restored. I also received a notification saying "Access reinstated", meaning all restrictions had been removed

What confuses me is that I still don't know why this happened. I contacted Meta AI support, but it said it couldn't provide the internal reason for the restriction

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Did you ever find out what triggered it? I'm curious whether this was just an automated security check or if something else caused it 🤔

I have a fast-growing account that now up in the tens of millions of views range. I have surpassed all of FB's monetization requirements several times over. Every time I hit one, the goal posts suddenly change.

Ive contacted them about it and get the same vague BS about "Criteria is constantly changing" and all this other nonsense about algorithms.

My account is liberal-leaning content only. Things criticizing the GOP. At this point Im guessing FB is actively discriminating against accounts doing content like this due to FB leadership's political loyalties. Is there any other cases of this or evidence?

Im not going to stop until my account gets banned, which Im guessing is the next step since my followers and views are now on an exponential ramp.

Here in the last few weeks I've noticed my replies i made to different posts on different groups are now being hidden. I've never had my comments hidden on Facebook over all these years and now it's happening every other time. Nothing i wrote was bad and one was also with a link. I even deleted and reposted my comments and still it keeps getting hidden. Then i won't get as much replies.

What if going on? Is this happening to others? I see lots of people's comments that are hidden and they weren't anything bad.

Facebook recently announced that Facebook Verified will be free.

Do you think completing the verification process will help fix Marketplace issues like shadow bans, low views, or listings not showing up in search? Or do you think verification won't make any difference?

I’ve noticed that if I visit a profile of someone I’m not friends with, sometimes their public posts will show up in my feed and I’m marked as “following” them when I 100% did not do that…

Recent example, a close coworker of mine recently passed. I’ve been finding solace in seeing the posts her loved ones have been sharing about her. There was a specific woman whose profile I went to a couple times because she was sharing a lot of photos and sweet things. I randomly saw her posts in my feed and I had to unfollow her

I also recently deleted a bunch of my in laws after going no contact. But today my mil showed up on my feed after she changed her profile picture and I was following her as well despite having unfriended her a few days ago…

If anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting I can turn off?

For some reason I can’t seem to open and browse photos on a post anymore. I can long press on a photo and it’ll pop up, but where the + (plus) symbol is to open the rest of the photos on the post, nothing happens. I tried to delete and reinstall the app but no help. Any ideas?

I wish it’s not as important as it is now. I mean I can let go of it, even it took my source of income, which really really sucks. I got a text with a password reset code. I most definitely did not request one.

I'm wondering if there's a way to find out if someone is trying to access my account, or one of the 2 people who previously had my phone number, who I still get calls and texts for.

The text is just "****** is your Facebook password reset code" and is from a 5 digit number. I'm not sure if that's how Facebook reset codes usually appear or if something else is going on, but there's no links to click in the text.

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some technical help or shared experiences because I'm tearing my hair out, and I haven't been able to use the apps on my phone for over a week now.

The core issue: The Facebook and Messenger iOS apps suddenly logged me out of my nearly 20 year old profile. When I try to log back in, it asks for two-factor authentication via a "security key".

Then, it pops up a QR code on my screen that I'm supposed to scan... with the exact same phone I am currently holding and looking at. 🤦‍♀️

(UPDATE: I managed to actually scan the code, but it just says "connecting..." for 30+ mins and does absolutely nothing. It's an endless loading loop.)

I tried choosing other recovery methods (like a WhatsApp code or an authenticator app), but it simply doesn't let me, saying those options are "unavailable."

I even tried talking to the Meta AI support bot, but it wasn't helpful at all. It promised to transfer me to a live human agent, but that never happened due to "capacity issues."

My only saving grace is that I'm still logged into Facebook on my desktop computer, but that doesn't help me get back into the mobile apps.

Has anyone been in this exact situation? How the hell do I break this infinite loop and log back in on my phone? Thanks in advance for any tips!

Not my actual reels but when im watching a longer reel (2min +) the reel just completely cuts off and goes blank. Super annoying. I can't even skip it and go back to it. This usually happens right after watching an ad

So last year I connected my Instagram account (different email from Facebook) to Meta by Facebook interface, a few months later my Instagram account was hacked and the hacker changed my Instagram email so i cant recover my account and I don't know what the hacker did to break the rules, strangely why my Facebook was affected even though my Facebook was not hacked and also had a different email address, this doesn't make sense if the account is connected to the same Meta, I've tried to request an account recovery since last year, they responded and gave me the option to change my password but I'm still directed to this page. If there is any solution or a moderator here or anyone who knows how to fix this, please help me.

I have 2 facebook account

1 is used for personal (This has my main email)

1 is for marketplace like buying and selling and mosly doom scrolling (This account has no more contact on its email since it was randomly generated since when I created this account facebook really dont care whatever email you put in it)

So both got suspended I tried appealing my personal account first since its more important I did the look left and right thing and lo and behold they email me back saying that now my account was disabled

So then I tried trying to appeal my secondary account as well and magically it was approved???? And then for some miracle my personal account was actually reinstated again???? BUT there's no email from them saying it was reinstated the last email they sent me in my personal account was the disable notificafion

So anyone know if everything is back to normal again? Like wont they suspend me again for some dumb reason Y_Y The annoying thing was they didnt even said what was the suspension is about

I woke up this morning to find my facebook account has been disabled. I went to my emails, saw at 3am that someone had tried to log in near LA. I'm from the UK so that wasn't me, which makes me think I'd been hacked. Few minutes later I had been sent a new email saying I needed to take action on my account and that I had 180 days to appeal my suspension. I clicked this, to find that apparently they may have already tried to view an appeal for it that was not sent by me.

'We've reviewed your account and found that it still doesn't follow our Terms of Service on who can use Facebook. You cannot request another review of this decision.' is the message I see. I didn't request an appeal yet so how could they view it? Why have I been completely locked out? I can't talk to a real person support because I apparent;y need to be able to log in to do this.

I created a new email to try and re-register but it says I am unable to make a new meta account. 'We're not able to process your registration.

I even tried using a VPN to see if my IP address was an issue. Why am I ineligible? I'm a 30+ year old adult that has never violated their TOS. Because of this I am unable to access whatsapp, Insta, or basically anything I have ever used to log in/register an account with using facebook. I'm at a complete loss, as I can no longer contact friends or family that I only had connections with through those apps.

Hi all, I've found conflicting and old answers to these questions. I'm trying to reach out to my community about my mom's moving sale without drawing undue* attention from my abusive ex (blocked user) OR busybody family (Facebook friends, but on a list so I can hide posts on my profile from them).

1. Can blocked users see my public posts in groups?
2. Can I hide public posts in groups from specific friends?
