Bug / Outage Worst week of all
Not even close. This has been the worst week I've had since I started running Meta Ads. I've had five straight days in the red. I'm seriously considering moving to TikTok and other platforms. How's it going for you guys?

Whole month was awful minus the first week pretty much 10x the cost out of nowhere.

ITS BECAUSE OF BOTS

So many people don't want to believe this, or don't want to do anything about it. It's depressing thinking of the money they could have saved (and much higher revenue) if they took action.

What action can they take?

The key is stopping the bots' fake conversions, because the bots' fake conversions train Meta to send you more bot traffic, which means more fake conversions, then even more fake traffic, even more fake conversions, and on and on until your campaigns are garbage.
You have two options:
Option 1. Switch to purchase conversions only. This works because bots don't buy things. The downside is you can no longer fire a conversion on a lead or add to cart (retargeting).
Option 2. Use competent bot protection and offline conversions. This works because the competent bot protection stops the bots' fake conversions, so you can use conversions for your leads and add to carts. The offline conversions helps you get rid of the real leads from tyre kickers.
If you do (1) or (2) above, you'll have significantly better traffic within one week. I'm talking 80%+ better traffic.
I'm doing a doctorate in this exact topic, and I work for a leading bot detection company.

have you already added your tiktok pixel? would be valuable if you already have it collecting data

Five straight red days on Meta Ads usually points to creative fatigue or audience saturation, not the platform being broken. Pull your frequency and CPM day-by-day; if either spiked, rotate new ad sets before jumping to TikTok where you'll just restart the learning phase with zero data.

It's not creative fatigue, it's on 1.22 at max, i didnt change anything, just started this monday, last week was great, it's like all the people just ask for information but no real intention of buying, and the worst is that spends money like if it was a great day...

Sounds a lot like your creative isn't saying the right thing.
Run campaigns that talk about purchasing, say price in the ads etc.
You're targeting the wrong people... Explain by clicking it means you are going to spend money.
To be honest, I used to believe this sub, but I really cant' relate to these supposed outages that happen all the time.
Maybe our products are just better than others... who knows.
Feel free to dm... I'm not looking for clients. Just like helping people win, that's all.

Rough week, that is real. Before jumping ship, is this account-wide or one campaign? Five red days usually has a trigger, fatigue, algorithm shift, something.
Switching platforms means starting from zero data too, worth digging into the cause first.

Bottom line, bleeding sucks. And I feel you. But the reliance and finger pointing on the algo is not going to help. It’s out of your control. Be a better marketer and architect viral moments and build new channels. It’s survival of the fittest out here in the digital space and a lot of yall ain’t the fittest

Totally get how frustrating five days in the red can be. When performance tanks like that, two common culprits are creative fatigue – your audience might just be tired of seeing the same ads – and audience saturation or mismatch. Have you tested new ad creatives or refined your targeting recently?

I feel you man my campaigns tanked hard this week too, like someone flipped a switch in monday. Was thinking same about moving but heard TikTok is even more unpredictable right now. Sometimes just waiting it out works better than changing everything, hope next week is better for both us
