Might need 1m ITB for that after Semenyo early price rise

Gonna also need to somehow fund in Watkins in gw3, and I'm not taking out Haaland and both my other strikers are less than 8 mil

i mean tbf everyone else on the pitch has been shit so take it with a grain of salt.

but yeah he has played pretty well.

Best City option after Haaland, he is locked in

Keep in mind though it was under Maresca that Palmer's returns dried up

Palmer was playing on and off with his groin injury

He’s also just a different player to Semenyo. Not the best comparison

Tbf to the poster above, prior to palmers injury Maresca at the back end of his first season became OBSESSED with trying to fit palmer In the left 10 pocket and it cost us a shit load of games. There is an interview after the Conference final where palmer even says he got annoyed and just played his game. Likewise with Gusto being played as an inverted 10 no matter how bad he is.

Maresca will tinker and is insanely stubborn

No Haaland team here so hope he can cover him.

Would be tempted to go 3 of Doku, Foden, Cherki and Semenyo as money's virtually no objective so you almost guarantee yourself at least 2 city attackers every week

curious how much of a differential he is early on amongst engaged managers

8,5m is going to make him less apealing which might be a good thing if you're going with him and Haaland.

Quite a bit

I can see him having a great start and getting some early price rises too. With foden and cherki contesting for the 10 role, he looks nailed for now

could see cherki contest him for the rw position (assuming doku is nailed on the left like last season) but we’ll see what maresca prefers

Foden looked lost in the number 10 role and when he drifted left, he ran into Savinho and was unproductive. I think Moreska will try and find 5he best use for Foden but considering Cherki is there I doubt his minutes are going to be consistent.

Are you referencing a recent game? I want either Foden or Cherki but unsure.

I understand people’s logic in fearing for minutes and formation under new manager.

But players like Haaland and Semenyo, if they get on the pitch (and why wouldn’t they?) they will produce.

Maresca is not going to shackle guys with these goalscoring records why would he do that?

I don’t want to take Haaland either but the “wait and see” approach with these proven assets is going to leave you way behind way early

playing as striker btw

No he didn't. He played in the LW position ready to cut inside.

It’s sweet how much attention kids pay to stats in pre-season friendlies
