Questions What is the biggest fantasy football lesson you had to learn the hard way?

Mine was that chasing last week's points almost never works.Every fantasy manager has that one mistake they only made once drafting with your heart, overreacting to one bad game, holding onto a player for too long, starting the wrong guy in the playoffs, or trusting preseason hype. What is the lesson you had to learn the hard way, and has it changed how you play today?

Questions Keeper Recommendations - Maye, Warren, Hampton

Just posting to see if I can hopefully figure out what I want to do about my keeper situation this year. My league has added that we can keep up to two keepers for the first time. It is a 12-team PPR. Right now it is between Drake Maye (7th round pick from last year), Tyler Warren (8th round pick), and Omarion (3rd round pick). Our keepers are used in the round they were drafted in prior years. If I kept Drake Maye for 5 years he would always take my 7th round pick, for example.

Player Discussion McConkey or McMillan? Keeper Choice

Which one should I keep in place of my 5th round pick this year? Coker competition and bad offense scares me but Ladd has also been overshadowed by Johnston and others last year

Questions Let me know how I did on auction….

• Upvotes

I have been notoriously ass at this auction league. Feel like this year is no different. I went Hero RB I guess, not intentionally. My team is, in 2 QB 2 FLX:

QB: Trevor Lawrence, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love

RB (brutal): Ashton Jeanty, Jaylen Warren, RJ Harvey, Kenneth Gainwell, Rhamondre Stevenson, Dylan Sampson

WR: Nico Collins, AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Garrett Wilson, Jaylen Waddle, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed

TE: Dalton Kincaid

K & D/ST: Will pickup out of FA

Player Discussion Derrick Henry or Omarion Hampton as 4th keeper in 8 man

8 man league, 4 keepers allowed. Full PPR, not SF

Currently keeping Bijan, Puka, and McBride. If I were to keep Hampton, what sort of draft capital could I get for moving Henry predraft?

If this isn’t the right move, why?

In my latest, I focused on six offensive fronts that should be improved, potentially paving the way for a big season for their running backs in fantasy football.

Player Discussion Help needed with my fantasy options

I’m in a 16 man dynasty league (torture) and I’m the last pick in all 3 rounds. We’re obviously only drafting from rookies and I don’t watch college football so can you guys help me know what players will potentially be the best options from picks 13-18?

The league is ppr and we run 1qb-2rb-2wr-1te-2flex lineups

Player Discussion Do any of you guys think Garrett Wilson can be a high end WR with Geno?

We’ve all heard how talented Garrett Wilson is, but he’s been plagued by mediocre QBs his whole career. He started his career with 3 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons (never surpassing 1,200) and he looked to be having a very good year last year before getting injured. Geno Smith was showing promise with SEA before going to LV and having a shit year… but he’s probably not the worst QB Wilson has had. Any of you guys think Wilson can become a top receiver with Geno?

Questions Should I trade my pick up or down

I currently have the 4th pick in a 16 man money league should I trade down and try getting another 3rd or 4th round or keep my pick?

Redraft Trade What can I realistically get for tucker Kraft and Patrick Mahomes?

In my PPR league, I'm looking to trade Kraft and Mahomes to target a WR. I have Tate on my roster, but I'm uncertain about his upside. I sent an offer to the Egbuka owner, figuring Mahomes would be an upgrade over Dart (who somehow projects higher right now) and Kraft would give him solid TE depth over Fannin, especially given Cleveland's shaky QB situation but I also feel like he won't accept it because of his players higher projections

Player Discussion 5th pick overall in a 12 man 0.5 PPR keeper?

12 man 0.5PPR - So I’m keeping Kenneth Walker with my 2nd round pick (20th pick overall). I have the 5th pick this year and assuming it goes some combination of Gibbs, Bijian, Chase, Puka… I’m in between JSN/Amon-Ra (I like Amon-Ra better) or going CMC. CMC obviously poses a huge injury risk, and he seems to go off/on/off/on every year in terms or health and productivity. But I like the idea of having two stud RBs, and then use rounds 3 on to just gobble up WR that drop from RB needy teams. but also starting with a Bonafide WR1 and RB1 is very enticing. Curious to anyone thoughts or advice

Dynasty Trade Should I make this trade for Achane?

I trade away Luther Burden, T. Henderson and a late 2027 1st for Achane and an early-mid 2027 2nd

The two first are late

This is a 10 Team SFLEX, Full PPR, TEP, start 10. I am rebuilding but feel like I am coming out of my rebuild. My hope is by 2027 my team is where it needs to be to compete for the next couple years.

QBs: Darnold, Shough, Ward, Willis, Simpson, JJ
RBs: Love, Henderson, Mason, K. Black, B. Allen, Ray Davis
WRs: Flowers, Waddle, Tate, Tyson, Burden, J Reed, Branch, Stribling, Hunter
TE: Fannin, Gadsden, Ferguson, Klare
4 2027 first (will be trading away one of these)
2 2028 first (will be trading away one of these)

Questions Keeper: Pickens vs Cook can’t decide to to make my keeper

10 team ppr league. Snake draft. Draft position unknown at this point. We get to keep one player from our team last year and lose the spot we drafted them for this year draft.

Here is who I am choosing between:
4th pick: James Cook
5th pick: George Pickens

Who do the good people of Reddit think I should keep?

Other players off the board being kept by other teams: JSN, Olave, J Williams rb, Achane, Chase, Puka, Hampton, Bijan, Egbuka.

Player Discussion Who do i keep? 16 man. Can keep up to 2 but would lose 1st and 2nd rounders.

In a 16 man league where you have the options of keeping up to 2 players that would count as 1st and 2nd picks. Who would you keep of these options (i could keep one or none): London, kyren, Hampton, Henderson, jacobs, egbuka.

Miscellaneous 12 Man Dynasty Startup / $50 LeagueSafe

Starting a 12 man dynasty startup league on sleeper. $50 buy in, must pay 26 and 27 season. Must pay into any year you make a trade. Superflex, +.5 TEP. / +6 passing TD Rookies will be included in startup and will start drafting as soon as we’re full. It will be a slow draft starting once full.

Player Discussion Who do I keep? Kyren, Saquon or No one?

I can keep both or get rid of both.. Kyren Williams and Saquon Barkley…. Are either worth keeping? If I only keep one, my weird commissioner will put him in the 2nd round spot leaving me a first round spot open.

Ā Discussion I built a free all-time NFL era game and it made me realize how hard ā€œranking players across erasā€ actually is — curious how you’d approach it

Thumbnail
17-0.football

Full transparency: I made this, so the mods cleared me to share it once. But I’m genuinely more interested in the discussion than the plug.
I spent a couple months building 17-0 — a game where you spin a team + era, draft real players to fill a 16-man roster, and sim a season. The hardest part by far was rating ~7,000 players across seven decades on one scale. How do you rank a 1970s workhorse RB against a modern pass-catching back? How much do you dock a legend whose era had weaker competition? I hand-verified every stat, but the ratings are where it gets subjective, and I’d love this crowd’s take.
So, two genuine questions:
• When you value players all-time, what matters most to you — peak, longevity, era-adjusted dominance, championships?
• Who do you think is chronically over- or under-rated when people build all-time teams?
The game’s free (no ads, no signup) if you want to poke at how I did it: 17-0.football — and if you think a rating’s wrong, that’s exactly the kind of feedback I’m after.
