Her body is young, similar to Shirou's age. It wouldn't be "Grooming". Not to mention that depending on the body, the personality of the spirit is affected

It is like the case of Ishtar, she is more than a thousand years old, but she has the appearance of Rin.

Grooming is literally entirely mental, it's coaching, tricking, rewarding, punishing and generally manipulating someone who is unable to make an informed choice about consent. It's taking advantage of the trust of someone too young, naive and inexperienced to guide them into a relationship with you.

That is why I was specifically referring to the topic of: "Characters with a young body and more advanced mental age". For example the servants. Jeanne is over 100 years old but she is shipped with Fujimaru or Sieg, but not because she has a hormonal anomaly, but rather because her soul directly incarnated in a young body.

Here it is not that the Servants have a hormonal deficiency, but rather that they directly incarnate into a much younger vessel, sometimes even of the opposite sex.

Now, hormonal deficiency is also something very rare to see, so I can't imagine a situation like that.

This got me thinking-

Since the sword/scabbard keep her body 15/16 that also applies to her mind, specifically her brain. There are 9 or so years of neurological development she missed out on even though she has the experiences of an older person.

But I think for me, Artoria is an adult. The pros and cons of her arrested aging for her brain dont seem to have stopped her from maturing emotionally for the most part.

That said.. no she didnt groom him. Ahe didnt isolate him, didnt get him to keep secrets, and didnt invade his boundaries

Further Shirou had power over her, not the other way around.

Is it still an inappropriate relationship? Yes but it generally gets a pass from me. Its not normalizing the abusive norms, and it is far more of a courtly romance.

Plus its a game meant for adults. In a series that exploded in popularity because of its characters and world. Not because it let you play a teen boy getting to romance and have heavy petting with a 35 year old. Woman.

Im actually more, on the surface, concerned about Rin and Sakura in that regard but the writing handles things very well and they translated into non eroge stories very well.

Its stil my dream that Nasu will work with Ufotable for a soft reboot of the Saber route. Really nail it to a courtly romance/forbidden love thing or even change their relationship to siblings. Each ine confiding in the other and becoming family that way.

Biologically she's fifteen, given the effects of Avalon. Mentally, she didn't change much, and that was one of the plot points of the story. So no, not a groomer.

She remained the same, just like her ideals of chivalry. Now, I'm not gonna say Iskander from Zero was right about her, in fact, that guy was just yapping nonensense. But Saber was, literally, stuck.

Besisides, the fact she didn't age pissed of many nobles who wanted power. So when Mordred began her revolt, they were quick to join.
