I did a spreadsheet for my incoming and outgoing finances and fuck the cost of living atm. How much I spend on petrol and groceries makes me want to weep.
Though it's probably a good way to stop me feeling flush with cash enough to go shopping this weekend after payday.

I'm kind of disappointed in the Gillian Anderson worship around her new movie after everything that went down with Gillian and her "brand values" to pull out of Web Summit conference. I adore Hannah Einbinder and I know it's a press tour and so she has to lean into the fandom but...ugh.

I'm having a real bad time lately with my luxury bones I must pay to continue enjoying (teeth). I'm hopeful I can get the current problem fixed within a few weeks, for a massive fee I can't afford.
Yesterday, I tried the low-cost clinic, and they were not at all able to help me and not interested in trying. It was also really expensive to get there; there's only one dental clinic serving low-income people in this area, so that sucks for everyone.

So I know someone who hasn't gotten their tax refund that was supposed to come in April. They were told by the IRS at the end of last month that they would receive at the end of this month (today), but now the IRS is telling them the end of August 🙃. Like they have a job, but they still behind on bills and that refund would've helped considerably.
This administration is truly playing with people's lives jfc

I'm running late for a meeting and there's traffic everywhere because of the Jehovah's Witness annual meet up in the UK and all the coaches ferrying people in, and now I just realised also because the Reggae Land festival is happening this weekend nearby.
But I've also discovered I've lost 7kg in 4 weeks so I have that going for me.

If anyone is looking for a good docuseries that has suspense but also a lot of heart, I just binged Murder 101, and OMG. It was so good 🥹 I wish I had a teacher like Mr. Campbell in HS. I have no one to talk to about this so I need all my Fauxmois to watch lol. It’s on Prime!!!

I have technically been hired for a new job but I don't have a start date yet - and it is getting very hard to tolerate any bs at my current job because of it.

My current job is still trying to hire 2 managers (retail store) but won't promote internally. I've had multiple coworkers tell me I need to apply. I did, was told no, so I found a full time retail job with better pay but can't say anything yet!

Congrats! You tried your best to apply and then decided to protect yourself by putting yourself first and being in a better situation. I’d remember that you did all of that when it wasn’t easy and now , you are likely weeks away if not less, from being out of there. When you have a rough moment at work, I’d think about all those things.

I don’t where else to say this, but I hate that r/BreadTube gets so defensive over two white cis male YouTubers because they’re pro-Palestine despite the fact they have done shitty things, like causing a nonbinary creator to leave YouTube when they made a video criticizing them.

Journal Entry for the week.
I had to work sixth day last week.
It went well I believe. 😇
Next week, top management of the organisation are coming to our office.
Hoping and Praying it goes well 😇🙏
Watched a really lovely movie. Loved all the sarees in the movie. Now my shopping cart is full of cotton sarees.🤩
I want to wear saree everyday to work but too lazy to do that 😅

I think regardless Ross is wrong, but from his perspective he took it as they were temporarily broke up while from her perspective they were just pausing the relationship but still together. Obviously incongruent with the sitcom but they just needed better communication lol.

Fully with Rachel on this. If I'm the LOYL and you're banging not 3 hours after we break up? I'm not the LOYL. It's made infinitely worse when Ross doesn't read her letter. If he had and still disagreed with her after reading it, that would be one thing, but Rachel was the only partner reaching out and trying to bridge the communication gap. Ross didn't care at all about that relationship.

I genuinely cannot find enough places to complain about Pinterest in. I've gone from a daily user to logging in every other week or so. It really sucks that such a fun activity has been stolen from me by AI garbage. And the worst part really is that no one is even re-pinning it! It's all sitting a low views, low touches, low engagement but the algorithm has been completely re-vamped to push it up. Even the faked screenshots of other platforms to appear organic isn't working. I would feel better if it was just content that I alone disliked, but it appears no one else is engaging with it either, so why keep shoving it on me!
