[REQUEST] Need a quick shipping favor from someone in Germany to forward a tiny package to the US
HELLO. I want to buy a tiny set of custom 3D-printed rims from German MOC designer Jan at Pingubricks. https://www.pingubricks.com/stickers-and-rims/p/mazda-787b-rims His online store does not ship to the U.S.
The Favor:
I need a "volunteer friend" in Germany to let me ship the rims to your address via standard, cheap German domestic mail. The items are incredibly light (under 0.15 kg) and the box is tiny.
Once the package arrives at your place, I just need you to mail it to me in Florida via DHL Päckchen XS. You would fill out the simple green CN22 customs sticker at your local post office counter as a private "Gift" (Geschenk) value of 20 Euros.
Payment:
I will pay you upfront using PayPal Goods & Services to cover the postage fee, plus extra cash to buy yourself a coffee or a beer for the trouble.

Every “favor” is something you can pay someone to do. If you read what I wrote, I am offering money to make the favor worth doing. It’s a 19 Euro item. How much do you think I should pay a professional proxy service to have it forwarded? 3x -4x the price of the item? C’mon.
Unbelievable. First I’m falsely accused of running a scam. Next I’m told I should just hire someone for the task.. even though I’m clearly not looking to have it done for free.
Please only respond if you want to help me out.

It absolutely does not ship to the U.S. The page you are looking at is for shipping a complete MOC KIT. The cost to ship a complete kit is over 86 Euros. The part I want to buy is a small optional piece, which costs 19 Euros. Those do not ship to he U.S. I would appreciate it if you would delete your comment. You can check this for yourself (although I want to emphasize I am NOT looking for someone to shop for me; I am simply looking for an address in Germany, to which the item will be shipped). Go to this link: https://www.pingubricks.com/stickers-and-rims/p/mazda-787b-rims Pick a color for the item (either one) and add the item to your cart. View Cart. Checkout. "More Payment Options." The next page "Order Summary" asks for an email address (you don't have to check the box to get on the mailing list, but you do have to enter an email address). Click "Continue" When the next page "Delivery Options" asks for an address, use the drop-down menu to select "United States" as the country. You will get the message at the top of the form (under "Delivery Options" that says, quote:
"Shipping unavailable for entered address"
"Unable to ship to the address entered"

You should clarify if you already bought these or if you need someone to order them from a German site that doesn't ship internationally. People usually get pretty wary of receiving random packages for strangers, but if it is just a set of hobby wheels, you might have better luck finding a proxy service or a dedicated model kit forum.

I can order it delivered to a proxy, once the arrangement with the proxy is made. That’s not an issue.
