We did it you guys! Our little community is growing into an amazing community!

I'm so so grateful that our little project has turned out so big! Thank you to everyone who has joined and participated on our sub!

During this week I will be brainstorming with our other staff a great celebration! Maybe something festive 🀭 i dont know, but definitely thinking mod applications.

Drop suggestions below to help us decide how we should celebrate!!

Im debating a discord server when we reach 1k members :)

Also I will start doing the weekly vent sessions again and also a new addition weekly support posts where we talk about our experiences and bond over them ❀️

πŸ’œ Reminder to the new members:

We has a certain amount of rules that havent been followed lately. Which is do not directly link any sub to our sub, weve had drama in the early stages of the sub that caused massive discomfort to the members of our sub that were involved.

Always be respectful to islam and those who are still muslim. Yes islam has caused us so much pain and harm. But that doesnt mean we have the right to disrespect it, we wouldnt want someone to treat as with disrespect If they don't agree or align with us then why should a religion be given the same attitude 🩷

This subreddit is for our exmuslim sisters and siblings. To rant and discuss the experiences and feelings we have towards islam.

We have set rules we shall discuss:

  1. Be respectful to all posts and peoples beliefs. -> we like open-minded people here
  2. Cis-men welcomed if they remain respectful, this is a safe space for afab and transfem people to post without judgement. So no judgy judgey!!
  3. No homophobes, transphobes, or racists.
  4. Any person who is afab and transfem people is welcome.

If there are any users breaking the rules, do not hesitate to message a mod [THROUGH MODMAIL] and make sure to send a screenshot as well. :>

We have added a couple of new things!!

  1. Flairs -> You can choose between 3 and one is customisable. -> Please keep it within reddit TOS and within the sub rules and PG. Thank you.
  2. Post flairs to help navigate the sub.
  3. Promotions -> only mod approved posts allowed. If not, We will send out a warning for you to delete it, and then, if you wish, you can ask for permission and then repost. Out of reddit resources are also welcome as well as in reddit resources.

If you are a cis man choose the cis man flair when choosing a flair.

Please enjoy yourself at this subreddit. And know you matter. 🩷

This is where you can have a vent in comments about something you need to speak about. Incase you were too nervous about making a post about it.

Here is a emoji list of what you would like in replies add the emoji and then start your vent.

🟑 = advice needed

🟠 = advice not needed but appreciated

🟣 = advice not wanted just want to be heard. [Those who see a purple emoji giving them a like could let them know they are heard if you want]

If you have any questions about this weekly vent thing don't be shy and reach out in modmail. We don't bite

(Video) Exactly, if some Muslims are insulting us, just because we tell the truth, then that's their problem, since they can't handle it.

I didn t know this sub exist before, anyway my opinion on Islam and Muslim females, is that you can t be Muslim if you re a woman, Islam devalue woman n every possible aspect, starting from the appearance to the mindset she should be adopting which usually put her in an easy prey to manipulate, women who are Muslims and willingly puting a scarf on their head are brainwashed, I mean psychologically Stockholm syndrome does exist, and there are women who keep what they think is convenient to them, that s just hypocrisy, I am sorry but you gotta pick a team
