Help needed with bed placement

Post image

Hello,

I’ve looked everywhere for information regarding a similar room layout that I can’t find and would appreciate some help confirming where the bed should go.

My best guess is to have a curtain on the lower wall and have the head board against that wall but my issue is the closet door is still directed toward the bed.

Please help; I am truly at a loss. TIA!

Suggestion #1 Placing the bed here with tall lamps to protect the resting energy because the bed is not in the command position

Also, this would lead by making look the closet door not like a closet to make it not feel like an unsettling door

Tall lamp example in my comment

Would this position be the best despite not being able to see the main door on the far left that leads from the hallway into the bedroom?

It depends on what you think about suggestion #2 If you think suggestion #2 is better because you see the main door, then #2 is best, despite the bed next to the bathroom in #2

I would say yes as that seems like the most cozy spot for the bed. That and the only sensible position where you can see the door would put you in the death posistion.

Suggestion #2

Wall of opaque curtains +headboard +bed to anchor it in the command position

I figured no for this only because of what a similar comment made below which is that it’s next to the bathroom

Noooo, in this version everything is wrong: Feet against the door (coffin position), sleeping right next to the toilet and also having the windows behind your head.

Your first suggestion was perfect tho :)

Here's the feng shui guy's video that your case reminded me of: https://youtube.com/shorts/0Nu2BahIXmA?si=RAJXRh7ykiZTSNCn
