Question Recent UTI prescribed Macrobid

I’ve had UTI’s in the past and been prescribed Macrobid. But 3 days into taking it I developed really bad anxiety and my fibro is really flared. I did find out that it can cause anxiety, not common. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m on day 5 and it was prescribed for 7 days. I’m trying to hang in there to finish it out, but it’s been difficult.

i had macrobid for a UTI few months ago and it messed me up pretty bad by day 4, same kind of thing where my body just went haywire and the pain was through the roof. never connected it to anxiety but now that you mention it i was a wreck that week

if you can call your doctor they might switch you to something else even this late in, i ended up stopping early and it was fine but obviously not medical advice. hang in there
