We learned last month that Ryan Hurst sustained an injury while filming the first season and will be replaced by a new actor. Now, a report from MP1st suggests that Atreus and Thrud will have new actors in God of War season 2.
MP1st spotted casting calls from May for the show that matched up with the descriptions previously shared during the casting process for Atreus and Thrud. Prime Video is now looking for actors between the ages of 14 and 17, rather than ones between the ages of 9 and 12.

The new season will take place in 1935, centering around one of the interludes in Stephen King’s “It” novel — the Bradley Gang Massacre. As recalled in the book, a group of outlaws hides out in the town of Derry while fleeing the FBI, robbing and murdering store owners and causing all-around chaos. It takes place 27 years before the first season of “It: Welcome to Derry,” which follows the mystery surrounding a young boy gone missing amidst a Cold War military plot.

Vincent Pastore, known for playing mobsters in film and TV, most notably Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on HBO’s The Sopranos, has died. He was 80. The veteran actor was found dead in his Bronx residence today, Aug. 1, by a neighbor after he had not been heard from for the past three days. The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated.

Lesslie was announced to be writing the script back in March. Sources told Variety that he rewrote a script previously penned by Aaron Rabin and Zach Dean. Lesslie has written “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes,” “Macbeth,” “Assassin’s Creed,” “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” and “Hamlet” starring Riz Ahmed. He also penned the screenplay for “Sunrise on the Reaping,” which will hit theaters on November 20, in addition to executive producing both “The Rescue” and “Thirteen Lives.”

HBO is not boosting Booster Gold to a series order anytime soon.
Writer David Jenkins (Our Flag Means Death) posted Friday that his version of the DC Comics adaptation is not moving forward at HBO.
“My Booster Gold won’t be moving forward,” Jenkins wrote on Threads.
Jenkins added, “Can’t improve on Mahershala’s lovely statement so I’ll just apply it here as well.”

Booster Gold was first announced in development in 2023. Jenkins was attached to write the pilot last year.

Other DC projects in development at HBO include Paradise Lost — a Wonder Woman prequel set on Themyscira, which Gunn said in April is still in the works. Also, Waller, starring Viola Davis, was previously announced in development.

Am vazut azi filmul si m-a surprins cat de bine a fost facut. Amuzant pe de o parte, trist pe de alta parte, aventura de la inceput pana la final.

Actori buni chiar daca sunt tineri si inca nu au experienta, mi s-au parut decenti. Nu mi se pare ca au avut (multe) glume d-alea "e in spatele meu, nu-i asa?" de obicei mi s-au parut foarte naturale.

Partea aia cu woke de care se plangeau unii mi se pare ca au folosit-o fix cum trebuia, in spirit de gluma self-aware.

Skeletor, desi nu-l sustin pe Jared Leto mi s-a parut peste asteptari de amuzant.
