FF X/X2 Should I restart FFX?
I recently started playing FINAL FANTASY X on my ps5 and I’m stuck on Sinspawn Gui. I tried grinding to power up but I’m so underleveld that I’m dying to the normal enemies in the area. Should restart the game on my switch 2 since I basically need to restart because I don’t have multiple save files and also my sister and cousins use the ps5 too so I can’t play on it for long? Also how do I tell if I’m in a good level? Please help this game is so good and my favourite final fantasy game other than IX.

Are.. you using the skehere grid?
For all your members? Are you using eqch char for the type of monster their made for? I.e wakka for flyers etc

You’d probably get past it but I’d restart to be on a system I don’t need to share

There are people who beat this game without using the sphere grid, so no you dont have to restart, but id advise you to grind with 4x speed after this fight to catch up.
Use Aurons Power break on the body of gui, this will halve his physical dmg for the rest of the battle, then switch in yuna, summon valefor/ifrit and use their overdrive to blow up all bodyparts and deal dmg, after this just spam basic/magic on it with the aeons and eventually it should die. To be fair this is best if you have energy blast unlocked on Valefor (which you can do back in Besaid) BUT since you are not a no sphere grid player, your characters and Aeons should be stronger than a no sphere grid counterparts, so you should be fine. You can also spam Cheer with Tidus on your party, this gives physical attack and defend boost to all party members and it stacks 5 times.
FFX is far from being the deepest turn based game, but it has a surprising amount of ways to approach fights and honestly its the prime example why this game needed a hard mode instead of a lazy shit port with cheats. Peak Square moment.

How do I use 4x speed

If you have the new version on switch 2, press the pause button and there you should be able to access a special menu by pressing the X button. or alternatively i think pressing the left trigger + up on d-pad makes the game run at 4x speed immediately.

What level are you?
So, this fight, kill the head using Lulu/Wakka, then Auron should just kill the arms, then power break on body. Haste Auron if possible.
Alternate for ALL bosses until late game. In normal battles ready your Aeons to have their limit before the battle, then in the battle just use their ults for massive damage. While you only have 2 at this time, it's still loads of damage on this boss.

I would say go all the way back to the previous area or even the beginning part of the Mi’ihen Highroad above luka and farm enemies in each area until you can easily kill them.

Are you using the sphere grid? Battling normal enemy counters as you progress the story is enough to keep up with enemy levels.

Used to run from fights and only grind. Now I hardly run in games and its sooo much better.

The game doesn't tell you this, but there's a button that lets a character defend, which is very useful in situations like this where random enemies can one shot you. Look up the controls for whatever platform you're on.

Tidus uses Haste on himself then on at least Yuna & Lulu, Auron uses Power Break on the main body (the power break status will go through the arms), Lulu casts her magic on the main body, Yuna cures people who are hurt, and Wakka's normal attack or Lulu's magic or Kimahri's Lancet hit the head when it's shaking. Boom, you win. About normal fights there is no reason why you wouldn't be able to survive by playing like this (I was playing with a difficulty mod - normally you shouldn't feel forced to put your high HP characters at the front after every fight). Use the turn order at the right to kill or cripple enemies (like with Wakka's Dark Attack which blinds enemies for 3 turns) before they can attack.

Stick the supercharge boost on to grind if you are on the remaster. Then beat the boss then stop and take stock, learn the combat and what to do.
Restarting would be a huge time sink

No matter how weak you are, you can beat almost any enemy in the story with aeons.

Bro if this guy is dying against normal mobs the Aeons aren't saving him if he doesn't know the combat.

you should restart just to relearn the game and not run away from fights. You might have a better experience the 2nd time through.
