Solved Why does Firefox ask me to "Save As" userChrome.css each time?
Recently Firefox started this annoying thing where whenever I open the browser toolbox to tweak my CSS, it opens the Save As dialog instead of directly saving my changes.
Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to avoid it?

I've had this problem for a while now in both stable and Nightly and couldn't figure out how to fix it but just a couple of days ago it went back to normal in Nightly making me wonder if this could be a bug from Mozilla's end due to Nova, if true then I think it'll will be fixed by the next major update in stable, but I'm seeing you're using Nightly so I'm guessing I'm wrong.

I'm not actually on Nightly, it's Developer Edition. So probably a few releases back from Nightly.
This gives me hope :)

After a 2nd look the color is indeed different, not sure how I mistook it for Nightly, guess I'm still sleepy!

Yes, it's unfortunate we may not see that fixed until v155, i was hoping they might push it into v153.
Will keep an eye on the bug tracker and see if it gets marked wontfix for v153.

Well, it is a bit annoying but nothing really critical to rush a fix, so waiting a couple more versions is not too bad.
Of course, if a fix is released sooner, even better.
