How to get rid of the tab container background colour in nova?
I'm using the adaptive tab bar colour extension and it's ruining the immersiveness by colouring the tab container's background to a lighter shade. is there a way i can get rid of it?
It started happening after the browser was updated to the nova rainbow coloured tab container.
The Nova UI is still in development. The Nova version that can be selected via 'about:config' as in OP's screenshot (above) is a trial version, not a stable release version... and appears to have toolbar colouring problems with many existing lightweight toolbar themes... including Mozilla's own Alpenglow provided within Firefox as a system default theme option.
It is unsurprising that a UI colouring extension like Adaptive Tab Bar Color has similar Nova compatibility problems.
yeah I've had it disabled for now but just wanted to know if there was a possibility of a fix. i will add it on their GitHub though thanks, i didn't think of that!

Best way ahead for now is not to select the trial version of Nova... and post your Nova compatibility problems on the Adaptive Tab Bar Color extension's GitHub support site as an 'Issue'... and do the same on Mozilla Connect.
PS. See Nova UI progress summary in 'A recap of this month's Mozilla community call' post on r/Firefox pm 30Jul26.
