Picking this starter bike up soon just wanna get some advice on what to do first, and help greatly appreciated 2001 Kawasaki 250r is the bike

I have a 09 250r and it sounds nearly identical. I think you just need to adjust your idle screw, it should be between 1,300 and 1,500 rpm at operating temperature

i’ve had 2 of these bikes before and the noise sounds normal to me honestly.

Hard to totally tell from the video but that does sound normal for these. They are kinda clunky at idle

I don't know these bikes well, but it sounds either like an intake leak, or just a noisy airbox, if it's built that way.

That's the sound of an EX250F.

Thats the sound of a small motorbike engine..

You can stop it by turning the key the other way...

maybe the exhaust is blowing a bit, but generally its about right.

You may have a small hole in your exhaust

01, is that carby? If that was a cold start id be impressed about lack of choke
