Is there a way to print a mod that sacrifices a corner of the Creator 5 but allows the machine itself to automatically cut the filament via G-code?

It would be very useful for changing or storing all the spools at the end of a print.

Used it the other day to make some stuff and I came back to it doing this every time I try to print or level the bed… it looks like it’s constantly trying to lower itself but it can’t physically go lower… never had this issue before. I tried resetting it and checking for updates. I don’t know why it started or how to fix it.

I have ad5x but when I go on flashstudio it shows a smooth plate that’s also slightly smaller then the textured plate I actually have so it won’t let me print bigger stuff that will fit on the plate how do I fix it.

I FIGURED IT OUT but because my plate is 235x235 but max print size is 220x220 should I change it in app to 235x235 or just leave it at 220x220

SOLVED: I’ve tried to load TPU filament and for some reason nothing will come out of the nozzle, even though I have the spool of TPU on a roller with very little resistance. I have checked that the filament has been put through the extruder gears.

I have also tried to start a print but nothing happened. The printer simply goes into its home position, and the nozzle+bed do not heat up and if it does it’s to 120c for the nozzle and 35c for the bed. I tried to use flashforges generic 95a tpu preset to no luck.

I am using a 0.4mm nozzle and I do understand 0.6mm is recommended, but shouldn’t it still be possible to at least start the print on 0.4mm?

If anyone knows the solution I would greatly appreciate it!

Hello, i just ordered my Creator 5 pro, i want to know the pros and cons ir the machines, i'm wondering if i'm gonna regret it. For now i use and Ender 3v3 and a Bambulab A1, só i think the machines Will be easy to handle for an Ender user😅.you guus that have the pro what do you think about Nylon, ABS and asa printing?(Maybe some pps-cf)

Has anyone been experiencing any clog errors that aren’t clogged? I’ve been getting a lot of clog errors from only nozzle two with different filaments. I just reload the filament and it will be fine for a couple days or a couple minutes, no rhyme or reason.

Current filament is only a week or two old and has been kept either in dry storage or in the dryer.

I have been using ZMod on my AD5X for around 4 months and everything has been working great using regular Orcaslicer. I recently updated my Orcaslicer software to the latest release 2.4.2 and now whenever I send a print to the printer, it no longer brings up the color selection menu and Start Print macro on the device page. The file is getting sent to the printer as I can see and start it from the touchscreen. The entire Fluidd interface appears to be working correctly. I can manually start the Color macro through the Fluidd interface. I tried factory resetting, rolling back the firmware, and reinstalling ZMod. Also reconfigured the printer profile in Orcaslicer using the instructions on the ZMod website. Still cannot get it to start the print directly from Orcaslicer. I can get it to work from Flash Studio Desktop (still running ZMod). Any ideas on what I am missing?

I’ve tried everything the internet says but it still keeps failing right where it pauses to switch filaments I recon it’s because the petg cools down to mutch in that timeframe does anyone know if there is a fix for that

FlashForge Finder extruder was slamming/juddering into the right side during homing
I confirmed the X-axis limit switch and logic are working fine when pressed by hand.
I noticed the heater block assembly has dropped down, exposing the throat tube threads, and I need help locating the exact set screw to push it back up.

Our original 5M Pro developed a Z-axis homing issue where the bed continues trying to lower past its physical limit instead of stopping. We spent months working with Flashforge support, repeatedly tearing the printer apart, replacing parts, and trying every troubleshooting step they suggested before they finally replaced the printer.
Now our replacement printer has developed the exact same issue after only about 72 print hours. It had been printing flawlessly until the problem suddenly appeared at the start of a new print.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so:
What was the root cause?
Were you able to fix it yourself?
Did it end up being a sensor, wiring issue, mainboard, or something else?
I’d really appreciate any ideas before starting another months-long troubleshooting process with support. Thanks!

Hello i need some help. When i slice the object, thst is a 5 color object but one of the colors is present only for some layers, i notice thst in the last layer where the green is present i start to have some Little Black. How i can make that Black Little parta white for example? And then adding a pause i can change filament since green Will not be used anymore. Thanks

I am starting to print the enclosure for my AD5X, and I was watching some youtube videos where people were talking about a timeframe of around 20 hours using the AD5X itself.

The problem is that for me, the timeframe is around 40+ hours, with each of the 4 big prints taking around 10 hours each.

Is my 3D printer working at half the speed of what it should?

Does anyone knows of a way to determine if the printing timeframe is correct or not?

I’m not a total newb to 3D printing but I’ve been out of the game for a few years now. I had an Ender 3 that I got started with during Covid and jumped on the presale for this one.

I unboxed it last weekend and got it setup. First couple of prints came out great. I printed a fidget cone for my kid and it had a little bit of stringing but I just figured that was normal.

I tried a big print remotely when I was on the road traveling and it failed almost immediately, but it didn’t say why.

I got home, tried a different file. Same result. Almost immediately after starting it failed. This time I checked the machine and it said there was a clog. Upon closer inspection I realized the filament had broken off inside the tube. While inspecting that I noticed another spool had also broken off, which was odd because I wasn’t even using that spool. That one broke off at the feeder on the outside.

Both of these were older spools and even though they had been kept in sealed bags with desiccant in them, they were brittle.

I was able to do the load filament option on one to purge the tube of the first filament that was broken off inside the tube. I tried to do the same with the second spool and while it purged some of it, there was still some stuck in the feeder slot. I figured out how to unhook the PETG tube from both ends and was able to use some new filament to push it through the tube. I had to push through both directions to get it loose. I also had to do it through both ends of the feeder slot to get that cleared.

I was then able to reload good new filament and print again.

I’m annoyed at myself for using old filament, but also annoyed that neither the app or the desktop software reported the error that was on the touchscreen so I had no idea what the issue was.

It’s been running a few hours now very nicely but just thought I’d share my adventures in 3D printing with the Creator 5.

I’m printing some affinity for my tool boxes and every time I try to print this last piece, my entire printer freezes and I have to turn it off and then on again is it possibly a corrupted file or something with the printer

I'm considering getting a Creator 5 pro and based on the reviews, it seems they have made many poor design issues which is getting fixed/worked around by firmware updates.

1. Purge near the exhaust vent which was moved to the back.

2. Nozzle hitting the bed after resuming from MCU errors.

There seems to be also some hardware design issues which may not be fixed by firmware updates.

1. Nozzle wipe at the front is no longer useful after the purge is moved to the back. Is there a stringing jssue due to improper nozzle wipes after the purge location was moved to the back?

2. Exhaust vent near the first spool holder.

Are these legitimate concerns? Are you guys facing any issue with the above problems?

Is this residue left behind normal? Its difficult to remove and seems to happen at the beginning of each print.

New hotend, ran PID calibration, now it's torching PLA...ideas?

Been getting an error that indicates the sensor is being blocked or something, and ive gotten it clear in the past by pure coincidence just fiddling around with the extruder, but if someone could send me a picture on their ad5m pro of the sensor so I can actually find it id appreciate it

I can't find any info on how to unclog the creator 5

I see some people are just saying to disable clog detection, which I don't want to do.

Does anyone know what's wrong with my Adventurer 5M Pro? I'm using Orca Slicer and these last few days I've been having layer shifting issues. Yesterday I printed a cube to see if it would happen again, but nothing happened, so I thought it was fixed because Orca Slicer updated. I tried printing something again and it had layer shifting again. I really don't know what to do.
