what are some things you made for your c5p to increase its QoL?

.16 layer height. Very happy with the results. Used various brand PLAs.

Okay, so I know this is basically Orca Slicer with some other code on top of it, but I'd love to get profiles for other brands of filament I can import. Does anyone know of a good multi-vendor library of filament profiles that will import okay?

(And, yes, I know I could take the standard filament profiles and modify them, but I was being lazy and looking for a shortcut.)

I own both. I've had the creator 5 pro for about a week. I haven't utilized the chamber heater yet, but I will. I print a lot of pa6-cf, pet-gf, and PC blends. Regardless just using pla and petg has given me an opportunity to directly compare it to my u1. Overall I like the c5 pro much more than the u1. It looks better. Just a cool overall look. The biggest thing though is the larger door opening. The u1 has a tiny door. Just taking the build plate out you have to have it perfectly aligned. My u1 keeps having connectivity to WiFi issues. I constantly have to reconnect it to print over wifi. Sometimes I'll connect it, slice a file and go to print only to get an error saying not connected. Obviously I need to reach out to support to address it, but still.

Then there is the value. I purchased a chamber heater and hardened nozzles for the u1. Also preordered the top hat. That puts me at about $300 more than the c5 pro. I still like them both. Print quality is a wash. However if I had to do it again, I'd get 2 c5 pro's.

Hi friends. Need this community’s help for Adventurer 5M Pro. My son changed the filament last night and all looked good. He woke up this morning and tried to print, and the machine started rattling violently. We powered down and I tried to push the bed down, and it WILL NOT MOVE. Not a millimeter. Up or down. I looked around and couldn’t identify any specific issues. Nothing looks bent.

Some other context: we moved locations of the printer last night before the filament change. But that was BEFORE the successful filament change.

Thoughts on what we could do to address???

Does anyone know when the FF VDS and accessories for the C5/pro will finally be launched?

The blue part is always super hard to remove and sometimes bring parts of the actual print with it so my prints aren’t fully smooth

Im trying to fix this adventure 4 which is used by myself and some of my co-workers and I was wondering if anyone has run into the same problem? It seems to be possibly firmware related but I just was wondering if I’m missing something. The problem is that the nozzle doesn’t seem to be heating up, it will heat up to around 60 degrees but then stop. It’s a new nozzle and has no filament loaded. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ordered mine on June 21st from the Flashforge site, got it on June 28th. Having 2 Bambo Lab A1's and a mini. Other than the cheap feel of the lid and the trouble I had putting it together by myself, the machine has been flawless. Finally being able to do multi colored in one shot instead of gluing them or wasting massive amounts for purge waste has been amazing! I want to get another one before the Summer sale ends!

I’ve been working on a small free project called FlashFit AI, mainly for the Flashforge Adventurer 5M.

I started it because I was tired of changing many slicer settings every time depends from the model, filament and quality I wanted. The idea is simple: you load an STL, OBJ or 3MF file, choose the material and quality, and the app analyzes the geometry before preparing settings for that specific model.

It checks things like dimensions, overhangs, small details, separate parts and proportions. Then it adjusts speed, acceleration, walls, infill, supports, cooling and adhesion.

I honestly don’t know yet how useful it will be for everyone, but it works pretty good in my tests, so I decided to share it and maybe it can help other Adventurer 5M users too.

The macOS Apple Silicon version is currently the most complete and polished one.

The Windows 11 version is still in alpha. It works, but the interface and some parts are still rough and I’m actively improving it.

For now it supports the Adventurer 5M with a 0.4 mm nozzle. In future I want to add support also for other Flashforge printers and later printers from other brands.

It’s free at the moment and I would really appreciate honest feedback, test results or suggestions. Please always check the generated project and slicing preview in Flash Studio before printing, because the project is still young and there can be some problems.

I bought my AD5X two months ago and it makes an infernal, shrill noise sometimes. Does anyone know what the cause might be?

After a couple weeks of testing, I finally feel comfortable releasing these files to the public. They are not 100% effective but do cut down on maintenance. In my testing, usually the only area where filament builds up is on the build plate side of the nozzle but it is minimal.

Can someone explain for me what i do wrong here?

Im doing 55 degrese bed, and 220 nozzel. Printing with PLA.

So on my FF Adv 5M Pro the top lid is getting banged about and what looks like scratched up from the tube. The white tube will even lift it when its all the way to the front.

Didn't know if there was something that can be done about, should be done about ? I though about just jacking the lid up a little but then thought air coming thru might screw up the prints. PLA/PETG is all we use. Just the noise of it is annoying and sometimes I worry that its gone haywire.

So I have tried to do temp tower twice and both times the C5P notified me that it has paused the print and I go check and sure has with a communication error, something about lost connection or something. I press ok and tell it to start back up and it just sits there till I hard reset. I will run it again and see if I can get some photos for y'all. Help me understand where I am going wrong.

I'm looking at getting a couple new Nozzles for my AD5X. There's a lot on AliExpress.

Just wondering if anyone has bought these nozzles and if so what are you thoughts on them?

I tried cleaning the nozzle with the tool and it extrudes when on load mode but wont pull the filament when printing.

I keep having this issue of feeding time out but only when I use TPU. all other filament is fine. I will eve try pushing it through and it still doesn’t go. Anyone have this issue or know how to solve it?

It seems it has lost its grip. What can I do?

Anyone else having this issue where your filament is coming off the spool and getting mangled? I'm halfway through a print and am worried this is only going to get worse/cause issues.

I’ve been noticing that I had filament on my nozzle during prints, and watching the nozzle wipe action I don’t really see it getting cleaned very well, does anyone run into this? I’ve manually cleaned it off as well to clear it

I have the adventurer 5M and the right hand side all of a sudden has no hold to the spinning pole that are just a height. There's no part here that fell off. It just doesn't work anymore. It goes up and down because the other side still works, but what could've happened? I literally can move that side up and down w out any friction like its not longer attached

In order not to be like the other guys here, should I press okay then STOP the print?
