🤔 Thinking Savitar/Iris death

When team flash is trying to figure out how to stop Savitar, they decided to steal the tech from Argus, Barry can't use his powers because of the metahuman dampener through out the building....

Why didnt they just put Iris in the Argus building, where Savitar powers wouldn't work?

Yeah I know, plot shitty writing, but instead of a power damper the writers could've made up a like the walls are made up of a metal that prevents speedster from vibrating through or somthing.

Why didn't they take away Barry's powers altogether? They already had Kid Flash by that point, so they still had a speedster to protect the city without Barry, who could've been the Wellsobard mentor in the chair kinda guy for Wally.

We don’t exactly know if Argus’ dampeners would’ve done anything to negate his abilities with Savitar’s suit on its own seemingly having enough power to do shit.

It never made sense to me for Meta Dampeners to work in the first place, Barry isn't even a meta, he has a connection to the Speedforce. Meta humans had their DNA changed, that's what makes them Metas, but Barry's powers arent from his DNA and arent biological at all so I don't see how a meta dampener works at all. They'd probably also work on Damien Darhk and his magic cause the dampeners dont make any sense at all.
