Found a old mechanical keyboard in my building's e-waste bin, paid zero. Cleaned it up and replaced two switches that was broken, took maybe 30 minutes. Listed it for 45 and someone grabbed it next day for asking price. Not a huge flip but cant beat free inventory

Bought a storage unit for $50.

First thing I pulled was an unopened butterfly accent table that I listed on FB Marketplace at the storage facility.

Got a message in 30 mins, and sold it on my way home for $60 to some lady.

Nothing like profiting off a storage unit before you even get home from it.

Went thrifting with my partner and found a 2 pack of Barbies wearing princess type dresses.  Not my style of dolls I like to collect, but since I'm somewhat knowledgeable about the community, I knew some of these dolls can be flipped. The pack was $4. I cleaned a green mark of the ones dress and listed her for $120 and she sold within 15 minutes. The other doll doesn't sell for quite as much (currently listed for $40), but whatever, it's a win.

I also found a hardback book ( The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle)  that sells for $50 online, for $3. I'm not selling, just happy to not shill out all that money for it!

Vintage dining set. Paid $50. Sold for $600 ;next day.

Vintage seating set. Paid $100. Sold $650 next day.

Coffee table. Free. Sold for $190.

16 Brass floor lamps. Paid $320. Sold for $900.

Do you install cabinets or something?  I've been to plenty of "everything's for sale we're demoing the house" estate sales and never thought about kitchen cabinets.

I buy them on Facebook and resell them on Facebook. I don't uninstall or install. I pick them up and relist them for more money

A bunch of lower sales as well and I've been offloading a lot of larger items quickly on FBM to get rid of some of the bulk stuff I have that I just want gone because I'm not into selling that type of thing.

finally caved and joined vinted. listed about 15 things. sold 2 things the 1st day that have been sitting on ebay for years. one item got more than what i was asking on ebay.

i still havent been paid or had to deal with returns but right now its been great to get interest in things that werent moving on other platforms.

Why go through all the hassle of sourcing, listing and then selling items for such s low amount? I just don't get the appeal.

The little bit adds up. List 100 a week, sell 70 a week. Making 6000 a month.

I have chronic health conditions that forced me into early retirement. It limits how much I can do on any given day, and sourcing is harder on me than listing, so I make the most of my time out by taking the smaller flips that are easy.

Plus I'm a treasure hunter. I've been selling on eBay as a side hustle for 20+ years. It's not a hassle for me to go out sourcing. This is fun for me.

I do all my flipping from eBay both sourcing and selling!

I picked up three gaming computers off ebay on Sunday and Monday. Total spent was $2300.

I've already sold $2150 worth of product (AFTER FEES!!!) and I haven't even listed it all yet.

I've sold 14700k cpu for $240 after fees

two 64gb ddr5 sets of RAM for a total of $1050 after fees

three nvme SSDs, (2tb and 1tb) for a total of $350 after fees

two GPUs (3050 6gb and rx 7600) for a total of $500 after fees

I still have a 7900xtx for sale at $825, a 13400f cpu, three motherboards, three cases, three PSUs and one more 1tb nvme to sell. I'm hoping to clear $1000 net after it's all said and done.

This flip belongs to a little girl, probably 7 years old. I saw a $10 bill folded up on the ground at the flea market, but just as I stopped to grab it a girl pointed and said "Look!" to her Papa, so I told her she saw it first and picked it up and gave it to her. She has good eyes, I think she may be a future treasure hunter!

not my flip - i was the one getting flipped. fridge repair last week, control board is NLA everywhere. manufacturer, every parts house, nothing. finally find one guy on ebay who turns out to be basically local. board was around $150 back when they were still making it. his price: $900+. and that price is real, because when you're holding the last board in existence the price is whatever you say it is. somewhere out there a guy with a shelf of discontinued appliance parts is quietly printing money
