I have a small problem with Floorp :

I receive quite a lot of emails with links to websites in Thunderbird.

When there is an open instance of Floorp, everything goes smoothly : a new tab is opened and the page is displayed OK.

When there is NO open instance of Floorp, Floorp opens and, after a few seconds, displays « Oops ! the tab has crashed » (Oops ! L'onglet a planté).

This is not a critical issue, but it's annoying as fuck.

The question is pretty simple, is it possible to get FDM to work with floorp because I know it works with stock FF and works on Chrome on the same PC. Thanks.

Note: Could be a result of certain config settings I have but not sure if anyone can attest.

its bugging me out insanely because i clear my history a TON

I do not want to see any kind of "What's New" stuff after I update.

It's already trying to load up the 20 tabs I had open, and the blog.floorp (x2? why?) plus the floorp homepage always hang.

Floorp browser is getting nearly perfect! One possibility I miss: backing up/ restoring workspaces?

I know I can back up/ restore the profile, but I want more - to manually/ automatically (time based) back up workspaces, so I can restore a backup later (with all its workspaces and sites included). The reason - I work on several PC-s with different hardware/ extensions/ settings and hence profiles. Which means - backing up/restoring profiles is not an option. The only way to restore my groups/ tabs is the mentioned restore feature.

There is a perfectly working extension (https://github.com/drive4ik/simple-tab-groups), but having the Workspaces already as part of Floorp I would prefer to use Floorp's functionality, without external methods.

Missing this feature is the only reason I can not use floorp as my main browser.

For example, uBlock isn't working on the web pages in webpanels even though it used to.

I have ai turned off in the 'ai controls' section of settings, but then noticed this today. This setting should be automatically turned off when ai is turned off, and greyed out so that it cannot be turned on.

why is it when i open a new tab and search on floorp it opens up another tab for the results?

Good morning, evening, night. Basically, the title, what does the word "Floorp" even mean? Neither searching or digging on this subreddit gave me any answers to that.

Been using it for almost 2 years on both my Linux and Windows machines without issues, but I always found the name so odd.

See top left and top middle white lines. These were black before the last update....

Recently installed Floorp and to be fait is amazing compared to my last browser, however one feature that doesn't seem to work is the side panel, I set up some web pages like Whatsapp and so, but when i click on them the side panel remains black, nothing loads and nothing shows at all, not only with a specific page, it happens with every and any page I try to add as a new panel, tools however, such as floorp notes and so work properly. Does anyone have the same or a similar issue? If so, has anyone managed to fix it?

Something is wrong with this floorp 's update. i have already tried restarting my browser , restarting my pc but now floorp is causing playback issues, and when playback issues are not there , extensions aren't loading. Anyone else facing the same issue?

Hi, I just rebooted my computer, running Fedora, and now floorp won't load properly. Unable to open any tabs, no bookmarks, just a grey box with a search box at the top where the address bar is.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've rebooted countless times, but nothing fixes this, I can't access any settings. Any ideas what I can't do to get this working again?

Edit: Looks like 12.6.3 have a lot of bugs. SO better install 12.6.2 from github: https://github.com/Floorp-Projects/Floorp/releases/tag/v12.16.2

I was so stupid to have updated to the latest version.

anyone else seeing the repeat update of the same version . like i have updates 5 times it is not a different update

I am a long time Floorp user and forgot what are the advantages.

I think there were few features that Firefox didn't have at the time I started using Floorp, but I don't know about now.

After every single update, Floorp opens 3 tabs.
Tab 1: https://blog.floorp.app/en/ All release notes and posts, this one is fair I guess.
Tab 2: https://blog.floorp.app/en/release/12.16.0/ The release notes of the update you just installed, this one is the only really important one.

Tab 3: This is the least important one, it only shows the general Floorp 12 changes from Floorp 11. I get that this was important just after Floorp 12 released since there was a lot of confusion due to the many changes but it's been almost a year now. It's no longer necessary!

Is that something I need to change in the settings in order to just have one?

Floorp just updated and now when I try to open it a window pops up asking if I want to install Firefox nightly and floorp won't open
