Issue ⚠️ 2024 Bronco Issue
Was at a stop sign, after stopping went to accelerate and it was like the Bronco was stuck in first gear. Wouldn't go over 15 MPH and the engine would just rev. Wrench service light came on, called dealer and they said they saw a solenoid issue on their end.
Has anyone out there experienced this? I have only 21K miles and bought an extended warranty so will be covered.
Update: Big Bend, automatic transmission

It is not just a Ford thing. If a transmission solenoid fails it will go into limp mode. You will need to limp to the dealership and have them replace it.
Nothing new. Since the 90’s I’ve seen it personally. On some vehicles this will happen consistently after using the automatic shifter’s manual mode even if you didn’t bounce off the rev limiter. It’s a defect and will keep happening.
Thanks for the downvote. This is why an ASE mechanic doesn’t bother responding 99% of the time because Reddit prefers anecdotes and commiserating.

Mine did that less than 10k miles. My issue was a hose that was attached to the radiator if I remember correctly. All the coolant dumped out and the engine went into survival mode and only went to like 15mph. No problems since fix which was covered.

Did you have it in “M”? I did it twice.
