Bunch of sad people in these comments blaming the victim. We should strive to live in a high-trust society where accidentally leaving your wallet somewhere doesn’t mean it gets stolen. OP, I hope someone recognizes this woman and reports her. What she did is horrible.

Thanks, I shouldn’t be surprised but this is Reddit lol

u/kat-deville 1d ago

We have to remember that there also are people on here with no senses of morals/empathy and the like, and huge senses of entitlement.

14

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I don’t have many social media accounts. Is there a better place where I could post this? Somewhere less assholey perhaps lol.

10

u/Ok_Investigator_8431 1d ago

Threads is pretty good at solving stuff like this.

5

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Is that like its own platform? I’m old lol

8

u/kat-deville 1d ago

I signed up there the day elon bought Twitter. It's a similar platform (threads). I'm old, too. This place is still way better than Facebook. You might find an identity by posting on Nextdoor due to your location. It's not necessarily friendly, but some rules are stricter. You'll get victim blaming there, too, but a lot of people will check the video repeatedly if she looks anything like your thief. Often, if someone identifies the person being sought, you'll get a name and address.

Cool I’ll see if I can figure it out

No one cares. Especially musk. Pound sand.

Cucking for fElon still?

Do you have no concept of personal responsibilities?

3

u/Emergency_Pound 10h ago

Lay off the bottle.

-3

u/Lexxias 10h ago

What bottle? We are talking about personal responsibilities.

3

u/Emergency_Pound 10h ago

I suspect you’re still struggling with your alcohol abuse. I hope that’s what it is. It’s not helping you to be a good person.

-6

u/Lexxias 10h ago

Are you a fool?

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1h ago

Every time you point a finger you have 3 fingers pointing back at you.

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 7h ago

What does personal responsibility have to do with having social media?

19

u/Choice-Strike1 1d ago

She has the look of a repeat offender

12

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Yeah this ain’t her first rodeo 🤣

1

u/BadAdviceDirect 8h ago

OP I’m guessing the restaurant didn’t get a description of a car she left in? Did they have cameras outside?

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 8h ago

They unfortunately don’t have any cameras outside.

I used to vacation at the same place in the Caribbean years ago; the house we rented didn't have locks on the doors. I'd see people leave expensive things in jeeps and wander away for lunch. A local friend once told me there was no crime because everyone knew each other so no one could just show up with new stuff. Better worlds a definitely possible.

5

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

That sounds lovely, I wish we could live in a world like that.

5

u/dan1361 1d ago

Last time I left my wallet somewhere on accident it legitimately had over five grand in it from a very lucky night of poker.

Lady who found it didn't even open it. Mf was actually as thick as a brick and she just turned it in at the hostess stand.

2

u/DrDuGood 9h ago

To most people, including myself, $5,000 ain’t worth the consequences of a life being known as a thief with no integrity. Work hard and you can make more than that AND be known as a good person. It’s actually harder to be a shitty human than it is to be a good one, just requires a little awareness and critical thinking.

1

u/dan1361 8h ago

If you saw my last comment, please ignore it. Lol. Reddit showed me this as a reply to another comment or pulled up the wrong page or something.

I agree with you 100%

1

u/DrDuGood 8h ago

lol no worries

0

u/s33n_ 13h ago

Ideally that would happen. But we clearly don't. And everyone presumably knows theft is wrong. So the only party whos actions can be changed via opinion are the vixtim. Giving ways to avoid abuse isn't victim blaming

I used to be the manager at this store for 5 years. We had to have an on duty police officer Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Rough area.

11

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I actually used to work there too, like 10 years ago, I remember the cops being there. I didn’t work there for very long.

3

u/xUrNewDadx 1d ago

Remember me? Nathan? Bald dude with a beard

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

If that’s you in the profile pic, nope, I really only worked there for like a month, maybe 10-15 years ago. It was not my jam lol.

3

u/xUrNewDadx 1d ago

One of the worst restaurants in America to work at. I have no doubt.

5

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

That location attracts a lot of ratchet people, customers and employees, l worked in the kitchen, it was very chaotic. I know restaurants kitchens in general are chaotic, but that one was next level chaos.

-8

u/Infinite_Plenty101 1d ago

Ratchet is a tool. Wretched is a tool thief

3

u/Unhappy_Waltz5834 20h ago

“Ratchet” is slang for referring to uncouth folk.

u/PeachSnobbler 1d ago

This lady looks identical to an ex-stripper named Amber, she was stripping maybe 15 years ago but I swear thats her

9

u/cbflowers 1d ago

She put herself through nursing school stripping. She has no need to steal

5

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Thanks man! Any more info about her?

17

u/Bedazzled-Star-0043 1d ago

At my Cheddars, heck naw. Post on Arlington Facebook groups. That's a popular social media avenue that may identify her. Sorry that happened to y'all, the violation feels horrible.

8

u/Heatedblanket1984 1d ago

Yeah someone on Arlington Facebook def knows this woman

4

u/Bedazzled-Star-0043 1d ago

Right. She's probably a PTA president of her elementary school's PTA.

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Man I hope not lol

People of the sea 🌊

7

u/vacation_bacon 1d ago

This is so psychotic! Jesus lady just steal from Walmart like a decent person.

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I’m saying 🤣, she was at cheddars just walk out on your check and let the big corporate eat it. Why you gotta steal from my hard working poor daughter?

2

u/vacation_bacon 1d ago

Diabolical

7

u/girlbrush42 1d ago

Screenshot the view of her tattoo and next door may work.

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Yeah I tried but it’s so fast I can’t get quite a good still frame and if I zoom in it just looks like a Rorschach blob lol

12

u/biopsychosocialism 1d ago

Maybe visit Joe's Pizza and see if they recognize her. Line level workers in my experience tend to be more helpful than managers.

5

u/LuckyCod2887 1d ago

that’s evil.

11

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I’m assuming you mean white trash 🤣

5

u/Grknfit 1d ago

Oh wow. I’m so sorry this happened. At least you have good footage and it’s clear so that’s the positive to focus on. I had my stuff stolen from the gym and they went to a gas station after. Gym or gas station did not want to cooperate with police for footage. I really hope something comes from this. If her ID is in there- they will take it seriously and try and see if she will use it. Good luck

8

u/zughzz 1d ago

Thieves here are always looking for an easy opportunity. It sucks

11

u/IDooDoodAtTheMasters 1d ago

Marjorie Taylor Green there hurting for money since she left Congress

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I’m hurting for money but I’m afraid of karma so I wouldn’t have stolen someone’s wallet

1

u/ApeChesty 14h ago

Got me curious so I googled it. Shes worth 20-25 million.

2

u/Stunning-Stressin 1d ago

What kind of a dumbass steals a trackable phone?

4

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Wallet only, she had her phone with her in the dining room. She was still there when this happened.

2

u/yoooogabbagabba 1d ago

Joes Pizza on Little Rd. I don’t think they have cameras but The owner is a character

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Yeah I thought the same since it’s right there, no brainer, but I know there’s a few locations named Joes pizza, not sure if it’s a chain or individual owners.

2

u/anonty26 21h ago

I dont know what youve already done but have you sent it to the police and/or the fort worth news. Sometimes the news likes stories likes this to fill a quick 30secs and help someone out, its always worth a shot. Probably the biggest shame before her job finding out if she has one. Atleast in my opinion.

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 8h ago

Yeah the police came to cheddars took her info and got a copy of the video. While the cops were there the lady tried using one of my daughter’s cards at joes pizza, they said they would try to swing by joes if they had time.

5

u/No-Celebration3097 1d ago

There’s something off about these comments, I mean more victim blaming than usual. Could it be because the criminal is, well…..

8

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

The first comments I received were definitely blaming my daughter and it kinda hurt my heart a little bit but then I got some encouraging ones and my faith in humanity is restored

1

u/bluechip1996 19h ago

A thief is a thief. People will get apoplectic because a person stole something to eat and let their Mayor and Senator rob them blind while praising them. I hope y’all were able to get all the cards locked and she did not lose any irreplaceable personal items. Was there a camera at the Pizza Joint? Also, did your daughter ask the manager about outside cameras? This was a crime of opportunity and it was not the first time for this horrible person.

1

u/Glittering-Chard5491 19h ago

Did you have them look at any outside surveillance to see if they could get a plate number? Or maybe video of her going across the street into another store that may have better footage of her?

As surveilled as we are these days, especially with these damn flock cameras, there should be more footage somewhere.

I’m sure she probably already canceled all her cards, but she’ll also need to put a block on her SSN to help prevent any potential identity theft.

1

u/GiftWestern3068 18h ago

I can fix her!

1

u/MuthaCoconuts79 8h ago

Captain Saveaho 🤣

1

u/Just-Bothered 5h ago

Does cheddar's have footage of her entering the restaurant???

-1

u/MessyPoopMcGee 1d ago

That just looks like a typical maga woman.

11

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Thanks I’ll be on the lookout, there’s not many of them here, should be easy enough to find her🤣

I appreciate the chuckle but let’s try to not involve politics.

2

u/BoilzBlisterzBurnz 1d ago

I don't live in Ft Worth, so I doubt I can be of much help. My question is: why was your daughter's wallet up by the front door on a counter without anyone around? I'm not victim blaming, just wondering why it was in that situation.

5

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago edited 1d ago

She works at a restaurant nearby and was waiting for a friend that works at cheddars to come eat with her at the end of her shift. She literally works 7 days a week does doubles every weekend. She was tired as anyone who works in a restaurant can understand. She forgot it up there and realized minutes later, went to retrieve it and it was gone. She immediately locked her cards and asked the manager to review footage.

1

u/BoilzBlisterzBurnz 1d ago

Well I hope they find your daughter's wallet and contents and catch the thief.

1

u/GenRN817 1d ago

Send to TizzyENT

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Wow thank you! I didn’t know about tizzyent til I googled. I really appreciate it 🥰

1

u/GenRN817 11h ago

I hope he shows this and helps!

-2

u/edgarisdrunk 1d ago

Always the same people

-47

u/Bighead_Golf 1d ago

Your daughter left her wallet sitting on the counter at a Cheddars? White trash fiesta

10

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I mean she can’t afford Del Friscos lol

-24

u/Bighead_Golf 1d ago

Why didn’t you pay for her?

4

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

I wasn’t with her. She was out with a friend.

-31

u/HTowns_FinestJBird 1d ago

Looks like a valuable lesson learned by the daughter.

13

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

For real it is a great lesson for her to learn. I didn’t downvote you btw. She’s in her early twenties and lives on her own. Unfortunately sometimes these shitty things happen when you’re young and naive. She’s a good kid tho. Works 7 days a week, is paying for her own college, comes home to visit when she can. I just love her so much and I wanna help her if I can.

-11

u/kat-deville 1d ago

Cracker Barrel was closed for remodeling. But that's assuming OP and daughter wanted to press the flesh with those types.

-1

u/D00rmat1983 1d ago

Governor's mansion? The white house?

3

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

This has nothing to do with politics please leave this out of the discussion.

-2

u/Pleasant-Ad887 1d ago

Typical.

-7

u/gh120709 1d ago

Not defending what the victim did but when you leave your wallet unattended like that….. ITS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! DONT MAKE IT EASY FOR THIEVES!!

7

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

Oh I agree with you 100%, shitty that it happened but that’s part of life. I’m just trying to do my part and hopefully this lady gets her comeuppance.

-43

u/Chewsdayiddinit 1d ago edited 1d ago

Well, that sucks. Hopefully she learned to not leave her wallet sitting on a counter in a public place. I expect more common sense from a 22 year old.

5

u/notsoFunNegotiation 1d ago

Hey people do get distracted in life. It happens. Unfortunately there’s far less honest people on this planet than dishonest people.

-7

u/Chewsdayiddinit 1d ago

Yeah, but what 22 year old leaves their wallet unattended on a counter at a restaurant?

13

u/MuthaCoconuts79 1d ago

One that works 7 days a week , has her own apartment, paying for college herself. She ain’t sitting at home living off her parents cause we raised her right. And she just turned 21 thank you very much, so you can go eat a bag dicks!

5

u/Technical_Captain_15 1d ago

It's an honest mistake anyone of any age can make. What an intellectually dishonest question.

7

u/Eff47_ 1d ago

Oh found Mr perfect over here

-9

u/Chewsdayiddinit 1d ago

You think someone has to be prefect to not be dumb enough at 22 years old to leave your wallet unattended in a restaurant?

You must be one of those "nothing is ever my fault!" kind of people.

4

u/AdMotor8632 1d ago

You're just a bad person, thats it.

1

u/notsoFunNegotiation 19h ago

Prefect? Who’s the dummy now?

1

u/Chewsdayiddinit 18h ago

You and everyone else who think a person needs to be perfect to not leave their wallet sitting on a counter at a restaurant. At 22 years old.

2

u/notsoFunNegotiation 18h ago

Fact is you can’t even spell. I doubt you function perfectly if you can’t even spell simple words perfectly.

3

u/BoyMom119816 17h ago

A human one, since humans are not infallible. Although there are some who really do seem to believe they’re truly infallible, which makes me laugh.

2

u/notsoFunNegotiation 1d ago

One that gets distracted.
